Does this actually have a tracker in it? I bought a 100$ bangle that did not have a tracker!

Yes, it has the tracker in it. It also includes the charging thing for the tracker and two different sized bands, which are small and large.

Why does the fitbit 2 not recognize bluetooth? and otherwise, why did it not come with a dongle? also, define dongle for me. i dare you.

It does recognize Bluetooth just fine. Go through the steps described in the manual to establish Bluetooth connection. The wireless sync dongle is the small USB device that comes with some Fitbit trackers. The dongle allows your tracker and computer to communicate with one another. You don't need it if you're using mobile devices, only for computers.
