Finally a balm that has a nice and strong smell. Its not quite like wearing cologne but its lasts a fair amount of time compared to other products I've tried. The feel and texture is nice.. great job!

First thing I noticed off the bat was the smell. From the jar, the fragrance was very strong and I was concerned I wouldn’t like it based off that BUT I still gave it the ‘ole college try. Once spreading it to my hands, I noticed the smell wasn’t as strong and I liked it. It really added a nice softness and texture to my beard, and gives my beard the hydration it needs. My skin and hair gets so dry, so this will be very effective for getting rid of “beardruff” My only issues were no instructions on the jar, because I’m a forgetful person, but that and the fragrance from the jar are my only issues. Otherwise, it’s a great value for your money and based off one day I can tell The quality of the ingredients are high, and the smell on your beard is great so it’s a small complaint

I have been getting this beard balm for a while. It used to come in nice packaging- glass jar, glass lid w/seal and it came in a box. It used to smell great. It made my beard smell great and my skin feel conditioned. My last purchase came in a cheap, plastic jar. No box. Not a big deal if the quality of the product is the same. It isn’t the same. It has no scent - I compared the new jar to the old jar I still have. I returned that jar after reading another review that said the company sent a new jar after that reviewer had a similar experience and the new jar was as it should be- like the original formula. So, I ordered a new jar. It is not the same. The quality has crashed. It is like chapstick- no sent, pretty solid (I have to scratch it off with my thumbnail to apply it). This is not what I paid for. I smell no oud in this at all. Please bring back the original product. The product is night and day different. I won’t buy it again. It’s disappointing as I truly liked the product before they value-engineered the soul out of it. Buyer beware.

I absolutely love the fragrant, woody scent of this beard balm. It has a deep, rich, medium-lasting scent that smells masculine and mature; a little goes a long way. The beeswax used is of premium quality. The packaging in which it is presented is sleek, modern, and elegant. This scent is rich and luxurious. If buying this as a gift, be sure the recipient likes the fragrance as any heavily scented product, especially one worn on the face or beard, may be obtrusive to some while others could find it pleasant and delightful. Scents are very much a personal preference.

Updated: Changing my review to 3 stars. While I still had the same issue, the company went above and beyond to reach out and offer a refund. Excellent service and I will check out their other products! I can’t tell you if this works well as a beard balm. Because I can only use the tiniest bit to barely touch on my beard and the smell is still too strong for hours. Don’t get me wrong, it smells good! But it’s so strong that even a tiny, near invisible amount, leaves you smelling nothing but that for hours. I can’t even imagine someone using the amount they suggest to actually get the balm effects of the product. I’ll keep it when I want my beard to smell nice and way too strong for hours, but for an actual balm I’ll need something I can rub through my beard. Just barely touching the calm with one finger, rubbing it thoroughly in my palms, and then stroking my beard is just too much. It’ll last me forever.

I originally bought this as a gift for a mate based on what other people were saying. When he opened it I smelled it and decided to buy a jar for myself. It's absolutely exceptional! Yes, it comes in a small jar for a premium price, but you really don't have to use all that much (I have a long beard) to get the benefits. It definitely softens and scents my beard. My beard is in excellent shape after using this with the oil. Some may say that using both is a bit too much, but I use the oil when I get out of the shower before I blowdry my beard, then add a bit of the balm in before brushing with my wooden beard comb. When you take some out of the jar and rub it in your hands it may seem a little oily, but it doesn't go on oily or make your beard look oily. It just leaves it feeling and looking well conditioned and healthy as well as smelling amazing. I often get compliments. Yes, the price is high, but I use it sparingly and it lasts me a few months, so I'm not too worried about spending the money every so often for a magnificent beard. It's worth every penny.

Not a huge fan of the smell but honestly, this product has worked like nothing else on my beard! It’s made it much softer. A lot thicker! It’s definitely STOPPED all dandruff from my beard and if I don’t use it for a couple days I notice the dandruff again. It’s a really good product, just very strong scent that I’m not super fond of.. it’s a good manly smell but isn’t my cup of tea. Aside from that I will definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a product that would eliminate dandruff and thickens your beard!
