Cuisinart Deluxe Stainless Steel Electric Can Opener

This product was priced reasonably, is easy to use and clean-up is so easy. It is great for those of us with arthritis. Just place the can in place, lock it down and the opener does the rest - hands-free while it’s operating. It actually completely removes the lid, holds the lid in place with the strong magnet on the handle and holds the opened can in place until you remove it. It’s really pretty cool. My kids love it too!

Very nice! Heavy base with rubber feet so it doesn't slip. Easy to use and works every single time. Easily comes apart for cleaning. Tears the paper on the can, but you won't find an opener of this type that doesn't. Yes, it's a little more expensive than others, but you get what you pay for. However, Cuisinart (like most other companies) should discontinue the practice of putting sticky, hard to remove, labels on their products.

Very good quality and a very attractive addition to my kitchen. The only flaw I’ve come across is when you’re opening a can that’s not a normal size can , like a 48 oz. can for example, you better put your hand under the can and support it as it opens the lid or it will fall off of the opener when the lid is finished opening and the can will free fall on to your counter top, making a big mess. I found this out when opening a big can of diced tomatoes, making the biggest mess you can possibly imagine.

I had an older version of this model for years. It ceased working. I ordered a new one and it is almost identical to the old one. Easy to use. Opens almost any size can. Just make sure that the cutting head is seated or you can end up with the head in the opened can. Has only happened once. Hopefully I learned to be more careful.

I purchased this Cuisinart Deluxe Can Opener (my third) in June to replace a ten-year-old model. By September the cutting arm broke. It would no longer seat in the opener since the plastic covering over the connector had deteriorated. I contacted the seller (AZterisk) through Amazon. They promptly replied by email that the return period had expired and I would not be able to return the item. I won't be doing any additional business with this seller. I am now contacting Cuisinart. During the two months that the can opener functioned, it worked well on some cans but mysteriously malfunctioned on others.

Very easy to use. Had a Black and Decker Space Maker can opener for about 24 years. It broke and I noticed there is one shown with all the other can openers for the exorbitant cost of several hundred dollars. It's not worth that kind of money. I liked the fact that it did not sit on the counter. The style of this new Cuisinart Can Opener is sleek and modern. I would highly recommend it. Simple to use.

It would seem this product was sold to me annd I was unaware that it is rated at 120V for the USA. why wan't I informed of the voltage not suited to Australia. The reason I never said anything until now is that I never even opend the box till now August 2022.

Excellent can opener. Study and does a great job. Easy to take off and on, the blade and clean it.
