Zinc 100 Grams Pieces 4n 99.99 Pure

I am using for a rather "strange" application. Read in a book by Mellie Uyldert that soldiers that suffered asthma at home did not have asthma at the front. The improvement was caused by the wearing of zinc identity tags against their chest/windpipe. Zinc was continuously absorbed through the pores. The author suggests wearing a piece of zinc against the the skin by the windpipe. These pieces are just the right size. Taped it there last night and have not had to use my inhaler yet today. Weird...I know...but worth a try. He mentions that the breathing difficulties have something to do with low alkali reserves in the blood with an acidified organism unable to purify itself due to breathing problems. The name of the book is "Metal Magic, The Esoteric Properties and Uses of Metals." It's old but VERY interesting. Bought it "used".

I love Rotometals, their stuff is pure. The title is 100g, 4-5 pieces but be aware you are only buying 50g. It tells you in the description you get getting 4-5 pieces which is accurate but the total weight including the bag it came in was 50g.

This is for use in making bronze alloys. Is exactly what I ordered.

I received 8 little hexagons of zinc. Total weight 100.90 grams. I don't have a spectrometer to verify the 4N purity claim, but a water displacement test seems to agree with them being pure zinc. (~14cc's displaced, which is 7.14g/cm3 within the accuracy of my measuring cup and syringe :P) Notably but not probably relevant, the hexagons are much duller than in the product picture. They are a drab gunmetal grey.

I bought these for middle-school science club for a density project. I am measuring density at about 7.6 g/cm3 using the Archimedes method, and the official zinc density is 7.13. I am using a 50mL graduated cylinder to measure the volume and a basic calibrated digital scale, so there is room for error there for sure. But I do wonder about the 99.99 pure statement. But for my purposes they work fine.
