What is the knotch for?

If you ever try to cut something too thick with scissors , you will notice how the object you are trying to cut tends to roll out of the scissors. The notch on the blades of the bolt cutter prevent this from happening.

Is this 2015 version which has marks on blade?

I bought mine in 2016, there isn't a mark on the blade. I'm happy with it, use it all the time. Best cutter I own!

Is this the new version? I mean the CoBolt 2014?

whats the differance between the 71 31 200 and these?

The 71 32 200 has a built in spring that opens the jaws for easier one handed operation. The 71 31 200 does not have the spring. The jaws are the same otherwise.
