Oskar big & hygrometer may show diff. values due to placement, airflow, & temperature. A +/-5% tolerance is normal. For accuracy, place unit centrally/at least 12 inch. from a wall. Avoid corners/furniture, as this affects measurement & efficiency.

How often should I clean Oskar big?

Daily: Refill with fresh water; clean if unused for days. All 2 weeks: Remove wicks, clean with warm water and dish soap, then rinse. All 4 weeks: Descale if needed. Wipe exterior. End of season: Clean, dry, descale, and replace wicks before storing.

Why isn't the humidity increasing while my Oskar big is switched on?
