I bought this to put in the shower house. It worked exactly 4 showers, then quit. We called customer service. They said "probably batteries. The batteries we include are awful." Ok...either dont ship awful batteries, and put "batteries not included" on the box, or raise the price $5.00 and put top quality batteries in the box. Either option would be fine. We replaced the batteries. No dice. Called them back. They said "probably the regulator, we will ship you another one." Well, this was purchased in preparation for a party at the swimming hole to keep kids from tracking mud into the house. I called my nephew who is a HVAC tech, and he put a regulator from a gas grill on it to get it working for the party. Now that it's working, it works well, and it's made in America. I'm happy with it, except that the hose from the shower head is all marred up when it arrived. It works, so I'll live with it. Eccotemp needs to get their act together on the accessories and have some Anerican pride in an American productUPDATE: after 4 months the shower hose ruptured in the night, the shower ran all night long, used up a huge amount of water and propane, and made a big mess. The heater itself works fine, but do yourself a favor and just trash all the crappy accessories.
