Do a good job
Great product to use between colours. I have a pixie cut and the roots show within a few weeks. its getting expensive to redo them monthly and I have no patience to use box dyes. Whilst these are not miracle workers, they do cover/blend the greys - mine are bad around the hairline. I use a normal shampoo to wash first, rinse, then use the defy grey shampoo and leave on a few mins - then I add the defy grey conditioner on top of this, leave another few mins and rinse. no staining of palms, nice smell and leaves hair soft. The conditioner is better than the shampoo and whilst not cheap, alot cheaper than a hair salon every month.

Excellent
I use both the shampoo and conditioner and they work great, blends greying hair into a darker more natural tone. You have to leave it in for the instructed time 3-5 mins, the longer the darker. It doesn't cover all the very grey / white hair around the sides completely for me, but that's good imo as It looks more natural this way, gives the hair a healthier look rather than obvious dye. It also doesn't leave any chemical smell afterwards like a dye would and does its job making the hair feel nice afterwards.

Disappointed with order
I have been using the John Freida shampoo and conditioner for several years and I find it covers my grey enough so so there is no need to dye my hair. I ordered the duo, however was disappointed to receive an already opened flimsy envelope with only the conditioner inside. I have returned for a refund.

Hoping it will help to cover any greys better with regular use.
This product hasn’t completely covered any grey hairs - my hair has lightened over the years and isn’t all grey. However , what it has done is given my hair a better overall colour and I’m hoping after a few more uses it will hide any straggly grey ones. I’ve only used it twice. It was expensive however it will last quite a while. The conditioner does make your hair feel soft.

Saves water and salon time
Who has time to spend half a day a month at the hairdressers. Showering colour in instead can be part of your routine. A neck problem aggravated by backwashes, which I’ve since read are linked to strokes, which in turn are linked to dementia led me to need an alternative to add my natural pigment into my fading locks. It can stain a bath mat or grout if you don’t rinse off any neat product. But does the job in minutes, rather than hours.

Good Product
Unfortunately this product has been discontinued elsewhere but has been exceptionally good and glad this Company can still supply it. Have used it for a long time and am still brunette even though well into my sixties so would recommend it highly as am sure has contributed to this.

Hair condition is more important than colour.
I have tried various colour-wash shampoos with conditioner and always want to try out any new one which comes on the market. Daft really, as I was happy with John Frieda's Brilliant Brunette, which gives subtle blending in of the grey in my brown hair and leaves my hair shining. I can't use any more of this Defy Grey product, as it made my hair dull and dry. It's probably time for me to stop fighting the grey which is ever more noticeable nowadays and let nature take its course. It's not so bad, the hair actually shines silver if kept in good condition.
