Poor fish!
It took me awhile to figure out how to install this, then awhile longer to figure out how to use it. Now that I got it, it is amazing! You can see the structure and where the fish are holding in relation to the structure. Wait... is this cheating? I don't know, but the fish don't have a chance!

You have to give the use standard 2d sonar
4 hour wait time on phone for 4_hours to fix my sonar not working. Turns out the 2 d sonar will not work with 3d structure scan-something they don't mention in the description. Images were not all the great even though my transducer was set up perfectly. Actual 3d structure scan is hard to read on my hds live 12" sonar.

FALSE ADVERTISING..
Product photos show transducer with a metal bracket. However it was not included in the box. The photo doesn't state that it was "optional." A separate bracket costs over 50 dollars.

Shows 3D terrain in pixelated fashion
This module is needed for the 3D structure scan to work with the HDS Live system however the quality of the 3D image sucks! Itโs nice to have the ability to analyze the water bottom and visually see the underwater terrain but if you go over a log or shipwreck the 3D image is very pixelated and only shows a rough outline of the object at most.

Useless because of using it with HDS/12 GEN2. Company should respect there customer and give them update software while to big time between GEN2 and GEN 3
