Wilton Small and Tall Aluminum 2 x 6-inch Layer Cake Pan Set, 2- Piece

I’ve used Wilton products for years and now that it’s just two of us, these pans make the perfect sized cakes. When reading some reviews before purchasing, I noticed a number had issues with dishwasher results. They are not dishwasher safe and that’s pretty clear in their care instructions so should you purchase them, you just need to remember to wash in warm soapy water and don’t scour or use sharp utensils and hopefully you’ll love them as much as I do. I made my baby’s first birthday cake with this cake pan and I can said they are amazing. It didn’t stick on it and it was the perfect size for the cake I wanted to make for her. The cakes came out perfect good quality pans easy to bake with them.

These cake tins worked perfect for the top layers of my sons birthday “sand castle” cake! The cake did not stick to pans at all and baked properly!

These pans are just what I wanted. I used one of my favorite cake recipes, greased the pans and lined them with parchment and used half the batter in each pan. They were done perfectly in just under the recommended baking time for the 9” pan. We ate one and popped the other in the freezer. Perfect size for 2 people.

I highly recommend these pans. I have used them over and over again. They conduct even heat and clean up like a dream. Very sturdy. I expect to have them for years to come. I would buy them all over again.

I don't normally buy Wilton baking pans bc they're made in China & contain all sorts of chemicals. However, I needed this size in a hurry to fill an order. They performed as expected & I had no issues with releasing the cakes from the pans. Bc I've only used them once & can't legitimately comment on their sturdiness, I'm giving them a 3 rating in that category. Otherwise, they are easy to clean & use.

My pastry chef friend advised me to get this size as it makes the perfect sized cake Bake it, cool it, wrap in cellophane wrap and leave at room temp or freeze. While cold, it is easier to split for a four layer cake n frost without crumbs. Keeps it from drying out as well! It makes a really small four layer cake and still looks significant if you keep it in just two layers as it provides a taller cake.

Perfect size for smash cake. Ease of use. Uniform.
