**Q: does this fit my 2006 Mustang GT?**
A: As mentioned, Amazon incorrectly states that this fits the 2006 Ford Mustang.  The correct gas cap for the 2006 Mustang is Motorcraft FC1032 Fuel Cap.

**Q: does it fit on 2000 Ford Explorer?**
A: I installed this cap on a 1999 Ford Ranger works great, the Explorer gas filler neck is probably very similar. The check fit feature on Amazon said it would fit.

**Q: Does fit 2005 mustang**
A: It did not fit my 2005 Mustang but I only needed the  tether so I transferred it from the  New To the old one and through the brand-new cap away.  Rather disappointing to throw a new gas cap away

**Q: will this fit 2004 Ford ranger XLT**
A: Yes
