Rimmel Powder Foundation Matte finish Fair Ivory 1 ml

I ordered this late Thursday night and it arrived on Saturday morning with the free standard delivery. I couldn't wait to try it out and it was a fantastic product. The foundation is really thick and creamy in texture and I applied with my beauty blender. I quickly realized that it goes on much more flawlessly if you pat it on rather than rub it in. It gave excellent coverage, covering the slight scarring on my cheek and the small spots I have. It even covered the dark circles under my eyes and I didn't need to use concealer which is a first. When I first applied it it felt heavy and sticky but dried in to a fine powdery finish very quickly and I could barely feel it on my skin, even better it didn't rub of during the day and it stayed for ten hours without reapplication. The matte effect is quite gorgeous and doesn't look like heavy make-up. I used the light porcelain as I'm very pale and it matched my skin tone wonderfully, managing to blend with my colouring and give me a slightly healthier glow at the same time. Astounding by this product and I will be buying this foundation religiously from now on.

Dona un effetto naturale alla pelle, ne basta una discreta quantità per avere un buon risultato, comprendo anche le piccole imperfezioni. Lo consiglio a chi vuole un fondotinta che sia ad un buon prezzo, ma efficace, che svolge perfettamente il suo dovere. Specifico di avere la pelle mista. Ottimo acquisto!

Note that this is a pretty small bottle, but the product is very thick so you only need a little to get the job done. I've been searching for something thick and creamy that can cover my post-acne marks, but with a matte finish that doesn't leave me feeling greasy. This is about as good as it could get! My new fave foundation. The color is very natural looking. It's a fair neutral shade and my skin is very fair with a neutral undertone. Like any matte finish foundation out there, if you have patches of flaky or dry skin it will stick to them and look uneven. I didn't find that moisturizing before applying helped much, but it works well if you mix it with a little moisturizer and then apply. Not sure why it's called "mousse"... it's just creamy and thick. Another thing, I couldn't find my shade in the drugstore so I ordered it here, but it's a fair bit cheaper at the drugstore.
