Excellent for repairing door handles
Hardware stores don't carry this type of spring. The spring itself is a little light - would be happier with a stiffer spring for heavy handle. Works as advertised.

Exactly what I needed and when installed properly works just as good as the original spring.

Limp and Floppy
These springs left my door lever limp and floppy. The spring simply is not stiff enough! Save yourself time and money. Purchase the expensive spring first. It works perfectly!
