Great Protection
I installed 3 of these almost a year ago. I have had no issues with PV voltages from 3 solar arrays, all putting out up to 500 Vdc at times. I recently rewired a PV array of 12 panels. Made the mistake of inverting the polarity. When I turned on the breaker, it smoked, bigtime! then all was silent. No fire, no melting of the breaker. I measured the voltage at the input and realized the polarity was reversed. My bad! I disabled the voltage at the panels, rewired correctly, and connected to a new breaker. All worked well. My biggest point with this review is, even though the breaker fried, it kept the reverse voltage of over 400 Vdc from getting to the solar inverter and causing hundreds to thousands of dollars in damage. The breaker not only will trip if the amperage is exceeded, but also protects from reversed Vdc. Very thankful!

Good quality
Its compact design and precise tripping characteristics ensured the safety of my sensitive electronic equipment and batteries. I appreciated its quick response to overloads and short circuits, preventing any potential damage. The MCB's ease of installation and user-friendly features made it a hassle-free addition to my setup. Overall, the DC Miniature Circuit Breaker offers excellent performance and peace of mind.

Works and clamps PERFECTLY!
I purchased this for my solar set up that I’ve been building for sometime now. After looking at some of the other reviews, I quite honestly don’t know what the people were doing in order to not get the wires to clamp down correctly I would say maybe try doing it right and using a wire barrel which gives the clamp something to bite down on rather than wire spreading real wide and people maxing out the limit that it can be tightened, then complaining on here. If I had to guess, I would be willing to say that’s exactly what people did. For me it works like a charm, and I will be ordering another one here shortly to add another leg to the system.

Solar Panel Breaker
Iam using it for my solar panel project they come in different amps so do your reading and design your circuits

Pv switches
I bought two of these they work great for pv disconnects in my solar system

Switch is good but the rail mount edges are very poorly cut, I used a Duckbill Plier and a file to straighten and flatten the edges so it will slide in smoothly

The rail mount is bent so the circuit breaker will not slide onto it.
