Then after a month the retainer ring that holds the grinder in place on the pepper mill popped out and it's useless. Popped back in but it keeps popping out. Unfortunately I'm 1 week out of the return window....chalk it up to bad design. Too bad because it could easily be fixed with better design (how about a threaded ring and lock washer) and they work well when they are working!The top reviews don't mention this - did something happen in production recently? Just to update, I received an email from the company about the problem and they are working on it and are sending a full refund. THAT'S CUSTOMER SERVICE.
