It runs great and easy to control. Only issue the gel orbs don’t really shoot out of the barrel. They break inside by the actuator but my solution was to buy plastic BBs. Now it shoots great

We bought this for our son as a gift. First off the GOOD! This is a very sturdy metal frame and chassis. I was impressed that it wasn’t cheap plastic. The build instructions were a little difficult to follow as they were not in English. It took about an hour and a half to complete the build. The rechargeable battery worked without issue. The remote control worked as advertised with no issues. The driving takes some getting used to but it’s pretty agile and fun to operate. The turret pivots and tilts as advertised. NOW THE BAD! The REALLY REALLY BAD! First is the power control module inside the tank that all the wires connect to. It has an on off button but it doesn’t work at all. As soon as you install the rechargeable battery it turns on. The only way to shut it off is to remove the battery. The operational capability of the wheels would not roll in the yard in short grass. It would only function on flat concrete or low carpet, which is disappointing because it has very beefy wheels and shocks with plenty of ground clearance. Lastly the cannon. This is the MAJOR BAD part of this product. It will NOT fire the beads at all. We soaked them per the instructions, poured them into the hopper and immediately the cannon jammed on firing from the remote as designed. The beads were shattered in the barrel and clogged immediately. We spend the better part of 2 hours cleaning and unclogging the barrel. We tried again and the same thing happened with the included beads. We thought we got a bad batch of beads so we bought and tried a higher quality brand of beads and the same thing happened. There is a serious design flaw in this product that renders it a useless RC tank. Our mistake was waiting so long to assemble the product and test it because we are well beyond a return window so now we are stuck with a RC tank that doesn’t turn off and doesn’t function as advertised. Very disappointed! Conclusion… I can’t recommend this product to anyone. Sadly there is something wrong with the design and you are better off researching other alternatives. Was easy to assemble for my 12 yr old son. Drives and operates as advertised. Just wish that the ammo came out the barrel better and farther!

Directions that were included did not cover all the angles needed to assemble. I how do use YouTube to assemble the RC. The controller was a little hard to get used to. It’s good but it’s a little bit different.

I was so impressed with the RC Claw that I bought, I bought four of these, one for me and three for some kids. They would beable to put this companys kits (for under 12 with no knowledge of Ardunio, or need of it) Used the beads without soaking them first, I thought I had jamed it. Learned a Lesson about buying toys from china, you can only take them apart, the sodering is so bad, that sooner or later the wires to the motors will pop off. The jam was in the turrent, which came aslymblyed, so had to learn to take the apart. It wasn't the beads, The spring would get stuck. Filed down some of the parts, got it to work, but had to take another apart to figure out how to put it back together, The postion of the cocking gear is critical, and so is keeping it in place. during the testing, the wire to the motor poped off. Going to start super gluing them as soon as I get them Might slow this down. Get to where I can get it to shoot, and find out it sucks at moving the barrel, up or down, left or right, it would be impossible to hit a target less the 500cm away. so no tank battles, yet, I have a 3d printer, so for me hardware isn't A problem wih amazon would require ISO Cert for all the fly by night companies. I bought this toy for my 13 yr old son. As we were going through the building steps, we noticed that 2 of the screws were missing. I had to run to the hardware store to buy 2 screws. On the last leg of the build, we then realized that 2 of the parts that needed to be installed was already installed. I got thinking that, Amazon sold me the product that someone had previously bought and returned. My son and I finished building the toy and gave it a test run. Everything seemed to work except the gun part. We poured in a small handful of the water beads into the gun hopper. As my son hit the button to fire the beads, nothing shot out! Completely jammed up. I spent 10 mins cleaning out the hopper and cleared the jam. I loaded 5 water beads and tried shooting again. Nothing shot out! Right away it jammed up. I reached out to Amazon customer service about the issue. They quickly sent out another one. A couple days later, the company who manufactures the product reached out to me about my dissatisfaction over the product. They were very nice and wanted to make sure the situation was handled correctly. They proved to me that they stand behind their products and customer satisfaction is very important to them. I am very pleased with the outcome. 2/25/23 update I am disappointed yet again. I don’t know if it’s just my luck or what but, after receiving another tank, I ran into the same problem with the turret! Once again it WILL NOT FIRE the water beads. I’ve spend some considerable time trying to figure out why the water beads keep exploding apart when the internal mechanism tries to shoot out the beads. I believe it’s just a poor design. Yet, I’ve read other reviews where people don’t have this issue and others who experience the same issue as I’m having. I’m throwing in the towel. It’s overall a great concept to have a shooting turret but, the design is simply poor at this point. I hope the best of luck to all of you who have or want to purchase this product.

A lot of cool functions to play with. I like the variable speed control. Much easier for the kid to control it since the speed can go very low. Had another similar but cheaper car that can only go full speed or stop - it's almost impossible for kids to control it properly. This one is much more controllable.
