A very good product—it's excellent for beginners.

This is my first time using any product from this brand and I have to say, I'm very pleased! I've been doing my own nails with gel for over a decade so I have my favorite brands for builder/ hard gels and color gels. This is absolutely going into my top 5 favorites! This cover nude is the nude I have been looking for!!! 😍 It's perfectly sheer: it covers up slight imperfections on the nail bed and still allows my natural nail free edge to show through just the tiniest bit. I love, love LOVE this nude because it's not pink at all. I have so many pink and beige nudes already. This matches my nail bed perfectly and goes beautifully with my skin tone. My coworker said she thought I didn't have anything on my nails at first when when she saw my manicure. I would also say the balance of the coverage & sheerness of the formula gives the final application a natural look that is so classy and beautiful. It's the thickness I expect for a builder in a bottle and it self levels like a dream. The technique for applying it is different from hard gels that are thicker and don't really move but once you get it down, it's a cinch. I always file and shape my nails to really perfect them once I finish my overlay application, but I always get the basic structure as smooth as possible first. It applies well straight from the bottle or with a gel brush. The fact that it self-levels makes it easy to create the proper structure to strengthen my nails, create a lasting overlay and do a faster manicure overall. I'm still getting used to this softer type of builder gel but I've grown to appreciate it now that I've used it more. It's been easy to use and quick to shape and file. It has been holding up very well, granted I'm pretty strict about how I prep my nails and use a reliable base gel. I wash my hands many times daily so I need gel products that don't lift, crack or chip easily, and last 21+ days. I like to see my gel manicures last as long as possible because doing my own nails saves $ but, let's be honest: it is time-consuming! One other note is that this gel really heats up in a higher wattage UV/LED lamp when curing. I have a newer lamp and I've definitely had to pause and flash cure when working with this Biobuilder gel to allow the product to cool a bit. My natural nails are fairly hard so beware if you have thinner nails. If I find it uncomfortable, I can only imagine how it feels with thinner nails. I've tested these bottled builders with thinner coats, even with my pedicure and the heat still builds up when it initially starts to cure. I'll update this review if I notice a difference with my other lamps.

Me encantó! El color es perfecto y natural, ligeramente traslucido. Es resistente y con cero problemas de levantamiento. No se rompe fácilmente, es perfecto para extensiones con ayuda de una forma para uñas. Estoy armando mi kit de DIY en casa y esto sin duda será algo que compre de nuevo. Recomendado!! Funciona genial para cuando quieres un look natural pero dejando un color base homogéneo. Al final termina viéndose como un baby boomer porque se alcanza a ver ligeramente blanquecino en el borde libre de la uña. También funciona perfecto para atenuar la luz que se ve pasar a través del borde libre cuando pones color encima. En cambio con un builder transparente sería mucho mas notorio.

Si me gusta el color y es fácil de aplicar, pero no dura en la uña. Uso primer y extra bond de mia secret antes de usar el builder y aun así no me dura ni una semana y ya se están despegando las puntas, si limo la uña debajo, si llevo el producto hasta la orilla, no importa que cambios hiciera se despegaba hasta que me recomendaron probar con rubber y con ese no tengo esos problemas, lo que me hace pensar que si es el builder y no una mala aplicación de mi parte.
