I read lots of bad reviews about these and was actually just going to return them. Then I ran out of the ones I had bought from the home store so I had to break into this package. Honestly, I couldn’t tell a difference between the ones I had paid $1.50 each for and these. I was refinishing my daughter‘s cabinets, and I actually think these helped me do a better job. They were so much less expensive that I was much faster to toss them and go onto the next one instead of trying to get as much use as possible out of each applicator. I was using gel stain and there just comes a point where you have to get a clean applicator. I didn’t notice any difference in quality. These didn’t break any easier and they applied just as cleanly as the others. Holding them side-by-side, they looked identical, and the grip felt exactly the same. I found the foam brush to be the best way to apply both the paint wash and the gel stain. Having such a large package came in very handy and I would buy this set again.

These are perfect for painting with my crafts. I really like that they do not leave brush strokes in the paint. I will not allow myself to be without them going forward. They clean up nice too.

They are okay brushes. The handles and foam are good. The only issue lies in the cheap, thin, and brittle plastic core in side of the foam. All the ones I have used have broken. Most of cores broke during washing, because they were not supposed to be thrown away after one use. They would be much better brushes if the cores are made more durable. I would give it a 7/10.
