Very good batting, good price!
This was packaged very well (inside two plastic bags, and a box). This is really good batting. It's daunting to buy 60 yds not knowing for sure what it is. This is definitely Fairfield Poly-fil Featherweight Thermal Bonded (Fairfield's # RSF-48-60YR-1). Joann sold it by the yard (before going out of business). The loft is 1/4" (maybe 1/32" less). That might help former Joann customers know this is it. If someone hasn't used this batting before, it would be even more daunting to buy 60 yds to find out. It could help them to know that this batting is identical to Fairfield's Poly-fil "Low Loft" (sold in bags of small, medium, large sizes corresponding to bed sizes). I've used a lot of that, and this batting produces the exact same feel in the finished product (for about half the price per sq ft because of the quantity). If you're not sure if this batting will work for you, look at the bagged "Low-Loft" product first. The only difference is that this batting is thermal bonded: one side has a slightly crusty feel. The bonding makes it more stable when tugging it into position (resists stretching, pulling apart). But, once inside your finished product, you can't tell the difference.

Good quality batting
I love this batting. I make a lot of lap-size quilts and the width of this roll is perfect for those projects! The batting weight is great for my projects so I will use this roll fairly quickly. The bulk purchase was a good price rather than buying small amounts on demand which can typically be higher that way.

Great for crafty products.
The batting is inconsistently spread. There are spots so thin where almost holes appear, and other spots that are lumpy. Nevertheless, itโs great for charity projects. I use it to make dog beds for the shelter. Itโs cheap and goes far and actually performs well. It keeps its bounce even after washing. Itโs easy enough to snip out the occasional small lump, and the thin spots can easily be avoided and trimmed out. Itโs also easy to zigzag pieces together where you have to cut out and inconsistencies. The repaired section does not show when quilted into a crafted project.

Perfect for my use
Love this batting. I have a long arm quilting machine and this is wonderful to use. Will purchase again

Easy to use
The Fairfield batting is perfect for the charity quilts I am making. The right thickness for quilting by hand or on my domestic machine.

A bit disappointing
Not sure there was 60 yards as stated. Was not able to make the number of quilts calculated based on the stated 60 yards and the number of quilts actually made. Relatively easy to work with but was difficult to get the creases out due to the compression packing. Will not buy again, cotton batting is the way to go

the batting is 1 inch thick.
This batting is 1 inch thick and not for making quilts. plus notice the return policy is only 1 month. I had order batting in 3/24 and we liked. this fall i just clicked on this order to place a reorder. the item was changed with out telling me. This batting can not be used for making quilts for ill children. now I have lost over $500.

Perfect for hand quilting.
My wife can get at least 60 baby quilts out of this roll. We hang it on the spool, with a 60" piece of conduit through the tube, and use small chains, hooked to small eye bolts attached to the ends of the conduit. When she wants to cut a quilt-size piece, I roll it off for her, holding onto the roll to keep it from unrolling the whole thing. Then I roll the end back onto the top of the roll, and it's ready for the next one, next week. She can hand-quilt a 46x50 baby quilt in a week. If that's all she quilts on that week. She loves this batting for hand quilting.
