no. this is actually one of the very tiny bottles that you have to take the top off and dab it on your wrist.but its still lasting me and I purchased mine back in November! its very convenient for the price and it smell great! I would definitely recommend! p.s the bottle priced for the higher amount, should definitely be the spray bottle

How does the lid stay on? Is it a screw top? Will it pop open in my purse?

It's lid would come off it has a little plunger thing that holds it closed but in a purse with other things I wouldent recomend this. Now if you get a travel sprayer you can pour this in a travel sprayer but that's the only way this 0.17 oz bottle would be usable like that.
