Worth getting. I don’t know why Lino blocks are so expensive but these seem to be the cheapest. They are still expensive but not as bad as the soft cut type. I find this preferable personally, although I use whatever is cheapest It is stiff but again , I am not sure why any one wants their lino to be floppy . This lino is carveable and I have it on repeat order now at least until I can get it cheaper elsewhere.

Great lino
Purchased as a present for my partner. He is really happy. I purchased the A3 so they coudl be cut down to size for smaller projects.

Great for precision carving. Much prefer to so-called 'easy carve'
I am a hobby lino artist, and have tried some of the newer easy carve lino blocks, but I much prefer this traditional lino block. With the right carving tools (i use pfeil), I feel it's actually easier to carve, particularly because you can snap bits off if you plan the carving right. So, for example, if you want to create a star shape with a v-shape carving tool, it will snap off in a v (4 v's making a nice neat star). Or if you want to carve very thin lines, it's easier on this. I find it get much more precision. It is also easier to stain before carving, as it's a nice pale grey colour. I usually sand mine down, then transfer my design using tracing paper, then go over the design in biro, then stain with a red watercolour (it works for me!), then carve. I honestly think this lino is beautiful to carve!

Good
Product was fine as expected. But when the delivery driver says it was handed to resident, it wasn’t. Didn’t ring the doorbell and there were 2 of us in the house. This is not the first time this particular driver has done this!! Product was frozen solid that I’m careful bringing it back up to temperature as it can damage the quality.

I received it bend more like wavy. Haven't tried it yet, first I have to make it straight again if possible!

Excellent produit, je recommande. La matière est très agréable à travailler. Personnellement, je préfère cette matière-là car elle est plus épaisse et plus dure.
