The real deal! So glad to have found this
Iโve had burmese tea leaf salad in San Francisco and Honolulu. Iโve always wanted it in Seattle but we donโt have Burmese restaurants. These tea leaf salad kits are the real deal and are all the rave in my house now. Thanks for this! So tasty, delicious and authentic

Tastes disgusting.

Yummy, authentic taste
Authentic. My current residence is a desert as far as eclectic food goes. Only downside of this tea leaf pack is the price, kind of steep for 1-2 servings.

All the ingredients are very good quality
I finally found a way to get a wonderful Burmese Tea leaf salad here in Washington state. I had been looking for it in restaurants for 3 years and here it is ready and available to make in seconds at home with this kit. Love it . The actual leaves are moist and once the package is opened I suggest you cut up the tea leaves into very small pieces before tossing all of the ingredients. I just mix everything with chunky cut up lettuce and tomatoes. Perfection!

Impressive
Iโm impressed. Took me back to Yangon. I added sliced tomatoes, shredded cabbage, and some lime and salt. Glad I bought 2. Canโt wait to share with friends.

Burmese Tea Leaf salad at home!
Burmese Tea Leaf salad at home, just add some romaine lettuce, shredded cabbage and a Meyer lemon. We love this special treat on a rainy December day :)

The strongest flavor is bitter
We've been obsessed with Burmese food since we had it in San Francisco. Had some not bad but not great Burmese in NYC, and some really great stuff in Portland. This seems similar to what we fell in love with, but it's hardly any flavor, as opposed to the fragrant sorts of tea lead salads we've eaten in restaurants. The strongest flavor itself was just sort of a tasteless bitterness. A couple of the lentils or beans or whatever appeared kind of brown and past their prime, and lastly, the tiny shrimps kind of disintegrated in my mouth and gave a gross, vaguely fishy, sort of powdery taste. Decided not to finish the salad. :(
