BARTON WATCH BANDS - Top Grain Leather Watch Strap with Quick Release

In the past week of have purchased two of these for different watches. One strap fits an 18mm lug, the other one fits a 21mm lug. The 18mm is considerably more flexible but both are very comfortable but not broken in yet. I find them to be of nice quality and they look exceptional with a smooth satin finish, which is what I wanted but the picture was not very clear in the listing. Both were very easy to put on because they have come with lug pins and a lever mechanism built into the strap for easy installation or removal without a special tool.

I bought this band for a Bulova Accutron that is a bit on the big and heavy side. It came with a mesh bracelet, which added too much weight to the watch and was difficult to fit to my small wrist (about 6.5 in.). I switched to a leather band, but it seemed flimsy and was (as most are) tapered to the point that it looked too narrow for the watch. This band is a whole other story. No taper, which for my watch is a much better look; good sizing, as it fits my small wrist with three holes to spare, while other leather bands are typically only one or two to spare on me (there's ten holes, so it should fit even fairly large wrists, too); and the leather feels substantial and looks good (although not dressy). I like the idea of the "quick release" feature, but it's new to me so I can't evaluate that yet. All in all, though, this so far is MUCH better than any watch band I've ever found in a jewelry or department store. Highly recommended!

Update - Well almost a year after purchasing this, the leather band had cracked, split, and come apart enough that it finally needed to be replaced. I wear the same watch every day and a lot of those days included exercise that saturated this leather band with sweat. Perhaps if it wasn't put through that it wouldn't have started deteriorating as much. Although maybe it still would have. No other issues though, so I guess almost a year isn't bad for an relatively inexpensive band. But still seems like a one star reduction is deserved. However, I contacted the seller and they sent me a new one. So I guess I still recommend it...? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ *************************** I'm using this with the 42mm Samsung Gear Sport. When I first started looking at a leather band to replace the original, I decided to go with the cheaper 'V-Moro' brand - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B077P17F6G . Well, trying to save money backfired as it didn't last but a month before the cheaper leather tore apart where the pin goes. Although it's almost double the cost, this watch band is the better choice I wish I had made in the first place. Overall it's just a better leather strap and seems to be made better as well. Also, it's not as short and should fit those bigger than my small 7.5" wrist. Installing it with the spring pins was easier and didn't require much force. The width is just enough so as not be too snug on the watch. So far, after about 3 months, I see no signs of it coming apart. Time will tell, but if you're trying to decide between the two like I was, spend the extra money once and get this better watch band.

Quality materials and build. Love the quick release pins for the band. It does not get in the way, but allows me to remove the band easily if needed.

I purchased this band and returned it mainly because my GF got it for me for Christmas. This review is for both bands I messed with. The quality feels good. As far as my armature self goes, the band feels like real leather. The dock on the stars was for: 1. The band is stiff. I mean, the stiffest leather band I've ever tried. I have been wearing it to loosen, and tried a few tips from online which helped but by god taking it on and off is tough. 2. We didn't see any size options and the band didn't have enough holes to fit at first. I took it to sears which punched in two holes for me (doesn't look identical to existing holes) for free and problem solved. But still a hassle. Still, for the price point, I believe its worth it. I was between 3-4 stars. I chose 3 cause it was a multi day chore to get the holes punched in

So far so good! My husband has a Shinola watch but they’re $115/ea for name brand bands - we got this as a replacement since his original band was tearing apart after a year. This one was as thick as the name brand, and easy to install. The original was labeled 20mm so that’s what I replaced it with, but appears to taper slightly where it connects to the watch, so I’ll likely try 19mm next time I replace it. My husband likes that the holes are slightly closer together on the Barton, which gave him more options for a better fit. Just installed it so I don’t know about durability yet, but with how sturdy it feels, I can’t fathom it would last much less than the year the $$ band did. I will say it’s not as buttery soft as the Shinola band, but it looks nice and while stiff now, I’m guessing it’ll soften a bit with time.

Perfect - I imagine will fit most watches (unlike some others) as it’s not too chunky with sensibly placed pins. Fitted it in seconds, as described. Feels like it will last - highly recommended

Nice watch straps, but they fall apart/fail relatively quick. I've purchased seven different straps from Barton and they all fail within a year of use. The most recent was the leather straps, they lasted two months. I'm also a light user, only wear my watch during the day, never get it wet, don't sleep with it on.

La correa es más delgada de lo que se ve en las fotos promocionales, lo mismo que la hebilla. La piel no parece auténtica y al flexionarse se agrieta. En general muy mala calidad por el precio. Lo único bonito y fino de esta correa es su empaque.

Esta correa es con piel vacuna, ligeramente rígida, requiere moldearla en un cojín para relojes para darle la curvatura de la muñeca, de otra forma te quedara en ángulos rectos. El grosor es delgado, y se ve muy fina y refinada. Sin dudas dará una nueva vida a mi reloj.
