John Frieda Luminous Glaze leaves my hair looking shining and takes away the frizz on humid days. I love how my hair feels when I use this product!!!

I bought the clear option because reviews claimed the brunette option left fine hair on face or fingers slightly brown-colored. This Glaze smells amazing. I have a LOT of hair and thought it would use a whole bottle in one use, but I was wrong, thankfully. The first time I used the 3-minute option in the shower, then washed & conditioned. Then blow-dried it without additional products in my hair so I could decide if it made any difference. I could tell immediately that it did. My hair had far less tangles when brushing through it, using a regular blow dryer. Today, a week later, I chose to use the 20 minute method. I actually left it on closer to 30 minutes while making breakfast. Rinsed out, shampooed, and conditioned, as usual, then used my brush blow-dryer and some product to protect my hair from the heat. My hair is so soft, so silky, so smooth & shiny, and hardly had any tangles. And my brush dryer had very little hair in it to clean out when I finished. That's highly unusual for me. I didn't have a more recent photo from just before using the John Frieda Clear Glaze, but I'm adding one to show how damaged-looking my hair was before using this product. It was so bad, I almost cut it all off. This Glaze will be a staple, must-have hair product for me from now on!

My first purchase of this product was 2023 and I have reordered. This product will definitely give your hair a more shiny effect. I was blessed with long fine hair with a little wave and lots of lovely depth. Enter the “mid life” and that changes! My hair was still fine with a little wave, but the baby hairs would frizz like a halo while the rest was dry as a bone, breaking off with no sheen. All over highlight that fried my hair did not help either. Then I tried this! It does work. Different hair will need different “processing” times, and this can make my fine hair flat if I leave it on too long. I would skip the roots but I need the smoothing effect on the frizz. Typically use it in the shower after washing and very lightly conditioning my hair, and leave it on for a few minutes. Personally I love the scent, the gleamy pearly color of the product itself, and the results. Not sticky or feeling build up at all. I took off one star because of the packaging. You have to unscrew and remove the cap, which is very awkward in the shower. the formula is very liquidy and can accidentally be wasted when pouring into your hand first, it slips right out and down the drain. a “nozzle” style dispenser would allow for application directly to the hair. I will try squeezing it directly on my hair and see if that helps save product & update. Wishing you all the best!

I have shoulder length hair. left this on for 10 minutes after shampoo/conditioner and then rinsed it out with semi-cold water. The interesting thing is that I have colored blonde hair, and it was like putting a toner on my hair. It changed the color a little bit, but the shine feels amazing, and my hair feels amazing. My hair has changed a lot as Ive gotten older, but now it feels Ms looks so much healthier it’s just unbelievable. I have tried all kinds of different oils and shines. This is some thing that coats your entire hair. Definitely worth a try. I’m not sure how long it will last before I have to do it a second time, but I think it’s gonna last a little bit. My hair feels amazing!

Do not get. Hair fell out almost instantly when I used it compared to when I was shampooing and conditioning. I rinsed it out instantly but still lost 3x as much. When mixed with remixdill it made 3x that amount for almost a total of 10x the lost hair for ONE shower. That didn’t include the fried look and the hair loss while styling. I like John Freida’s other stuff

Thus works great for shine but turned my new expensive highlights brassy immediately. I've now had to order purple shampoo to try to reverse that. A bit annoying.

I am a natural blonde who lets my hair air dry and I rarely use a curling iron so my hair is in a pretty healthy state just seems to lack shine at times. I mostly use this treatment before special occasions or vacation. I put it on dry hair, comb through and leave for 30 minutes. Leaves my hair smooth and silky for a couple weeks.

This WORKS GREAT!!!! After using it you will need to wash your hair atleast 2 days later or dry shampoo those roots though. My hair is so soft, less frizz, and shiny. This works better than anything I have tried. Even better than all the salon products I have tried. John Frieda outdone themselves and ithey need to keep the price point where it's at !! Hair feels soft and thicker (I have very fine hair). Used it 3 times so far but not seeing any gloss

Hated this. Threw half out. Hair has never been so dry. Friend found the same thing when I gave her the rest. Look at the ingredients before purchasing.
