Review: Oven putter and getter - I did not buy this pan for picking up dust. I bought it put cold dishes and casseroles into my microwave or oven and to get them out when they are hot and done cooking. The cold dishes easily slide out of the pan into the oven, and the thin edge slides under the hot dishes when you push the pan to the back of the oven. The pan is made of molded stainless steel, it has no seams. If your hot soup spills, it falls into the pan and does not leak out. The pan is rigid and does not flex, if the food and dish are heavy. You do not need a hot pad to pick up the pan. The back is high and easy to grab. As long as you do not put your fingers under where the hot dish is sitting, it will not be hot. The dish size is limited to under 10 inches. If the manufacturer reads this, I suggest they develop a heat resistant handle to wrap around and fasten on to the back edge of the pan, to make it easier to hold.

**Q: Does it oxidize since it’s made out of metal??**
A: Mine sits outdoors by my garbage cans in Arizona. It tolerates extreme heat and has not warped or rusted. It has seen some rain but mostly heat. It works well for me to sweep up dirt, leaves and debris.

love this dust pan, have bad knees and it is very difficult to get down and pick things up off the floor, take my broom and use it to clean things up off the floor it has a strong handle and the lip is just right for picking up small and larger items
