The directions were clear to follow and we set it up in just one minute. The only problem you would have is if there isn't an outlet nearby to plug it in. It's not very big and doesn't take up much room but It lights up brightly and is very visible. The yellow light lets you know that you are near and when it turns red it is time to stop. We've had this item for a few months now and it works great.
