It's unbelievable the prices vets charge for flea and tick protection, in fact, the OTC applications aren't that cheap either. We've this product for 2 years and it's worked just fine. Note, we own a Shih Tzu which is an indoor dog, but we take him out several times a day and he's stayed free of ticks this past summer. We recommend.

It works for my beagle, who loves to go on walks and play in the long grass. i washed my dog after a walk in the woods, and I actually saw dead ticks coming off of her in the bath, so any ticks or fleas that get on her die from a bite. tips for others who want to use this: 1. I always part the fur to make sure the liquid touches the skin, and I apply it to three different places on my dog's neck and upper back. 2. I also make sure to rub the liquid into the skin a little bit. I wear gloves to make this process safer. 3. I do not let my dog get wet for 3 days after applying, no baths, no walks in the rain, nothing wet. 4. i always make sure to apply this on the same day every month, even over the winter, to make sure she is always protected.

I have been a K9 Advantage user for years. Decided to change it so the fleas don’t get resistant. This has been on since Aug 29. Today is Sept 5. My poor pup has them walking all over him and BEDDING DIRECTLY WHERE I HAD PUT SOME. Now, I can’t even treat him until next treatment. Ugghhh…
