Works great
The ducks are able to get the feed too. I recommend using a square bucket instead of a round bucket so that it seals a little nicer but it is perfect for what I need. Simple to do. Instructions were not great. I was looking for some guidance on how far up or down the bucket I should make the holes, but the lack of leads me to believe that itโs not too serious.

You just need your own drill - easy as pie and works like a charm. Look at my tips.
This took me less than five minutes to drill, sand, and insert the four feeder tubes. I do recommend sanding off the frayed plastic after the holes are cut so as not to get any plastic into the feed. If you don't have sanding paper, just use a knife's edge to go around the inner and outer circle to clear frayed plastic. Pro Tip: Put your holes as low as possible on the bucket - about an inch above the bottom*, and you do not need to put your bucket on a brick or anything else - just flat on the ground. Trust me - your birds' natural way to eat is off the ground, and I observed my hens perfectly angled into the opening and easily getting their food without elevating the bucket (I used a five-gallon Costco bucket - you can buy lids on Amazon that fit perfectly). *If you put the holes too high, then once the feed depletes, all the feed below the tubes can't be reached.

Great product good price!!
Great product! Comes with the cutter to cut out the holes in your buckets. Covers to close up the port at night. Easy to put together. Less mess and waste of food as the chicken are unable to scratch at the food, just pop their head in and eat. Durable plastic no seal needed thereโs a stew nut to secure the feeder to the bucket from the inside. Leak and critter resistant.

They work!
We have another brand of these chicken feeder ports and have been pleased with them. When one of our hens decided to hatch out some baby chicks for us, we realized we needed another feeder bucket so they wouldn't be crowded. The ones we ordered before are no longer available, so we decided to try these. They are much larger and at first my husband wasn't sure they would fit very well on a round bucket. But they do and even the little chicks can eat out of them. They do scatter some feed around, but that's just what chickens do! Having the hole saw made the project very easy. We have them in a 5 gallon bucket, which holds enough feed to last a while. These also came with covers so you can close the ports off. We have trouble with mice from time to time, so that might come in handy if we need to close up the ports at night to keep them out. All in all, we highly recommend these!

Worked ok
Easy to use but their were not true instructions which made it hard to determine where the rubber piece went

Wonderful
Easy to install and a peace of mind for when we have weekend trips. We initially set these up on 5g buckets but will transfer to a small trash can. Definitely keeps food dry and rain out when installed correctly. We also have ducks and they use it fine, we just had to cut the opening that is inside the bucket so they could get there beaks in it.

Still working for 4 years now. Fairly easy installation with a power drill.
Still using the ones I bought for my first chickens 4 years ago. They were easy to install with a cheap power drill I had, 3 of them in the sides of a 5-gallon food grade bucket. Beats buying expensive feeders with plenty of room for them to easily access their food. Love the covers I use at night to reduce invitation of the many local rodents! (We live in the woods). These are for my new pullets that I hope to buy this spring.

Great DIY Feeder โ Easy, Clean, and Works Well
Installed this in a 5-gallon bucket using the included hole sawโsuper simple setup. My chickens figured it out quickly, and feed stays dry even during rain. Way less waste and mess compared to open feeders. Only tip: anchor the bucket so it doesnโt shift when they lean in. Great value for a quick, low-maintenance feeding solution. Rating: 5/5 โ Perfect for backyard flocks.

Good but still wastes food
I really like these but don't be fooled they are not spill proof!!! Maybe cuts down spillage by a small percentage. I have a catch bin under my 5 gallon feed pail with these feeders and it fills all the time
