Pro-Gold Panning Kit

Years ago I bought this set for myself and have loved using for prospecting. Great drop in classifier to separate pay from cobbles. The large riffles work great to knock down all the light gravely trapping flour gold... turn to small riffles to continue reducing larger material while still trapping gold. This set is for my son as he too has the gold itch and wants a set like mine. I also want to mention that the snuffer bottle I got with my set still works great and is the best snuffer I have!! If you are a seasoned prospector or a newbie, the minelab pans are definitely one of the best designs and love they went with blue. Contrast between blue and gold is strong and makes finding the smallest of flour gold easy! (picture is cons from 2 5g buckets ran through sluice...lots of flour gold 🙂)

This is a quality panning kit. The dark blue is easier to see gold than most I see. the classifier is solid too. So after a full season with it I would call this a solid purchase. (Metal detect your spoils to make sure you do not miss anything)

Very decent kit, I really like the pro pan. Definitely keeps the gold in the pan. Gold stands out well with the blue. The classifier works great and I really like the handles. Only minor thing is the kit doesn't come with glass vials, just cheap plastic vials, other than that it's a good starter kit for the money.

There is nothing to hate here. Well thought out. Well executed, and the quality control is top tier. You can tell these are product that are made well and dont hold back on expenses to bring you excellent panning gear. I love their metal detectors too, and their gold panning gear is all the same. Top notch. I hope they add more panning items in the future, ill be sure to pick them up. The only thing i would change is the plastic vials, but thats a personal preference. They cant ship tiny glass vials with this product and thats understandable. The magnet isnt useless but i like it too much to use so now its a fridge magnet :). The classifier and 14 inch pan are plenty big enough to process a good bit of materials in a short period of time and the everything is built to endure and last.

Bought this to use in Alaska during a trip the past summer but never got any time in with it. Magnifying glass contraption fell apart due to broken plastic lense swivels, right out of the box and being older and with failing eyesight involved, the magnifiers were a needed accessory. Other than that, seems the rest of the kit will hang in there to minimal use if gold panning time comes by me.

Very well constructed pans and classifier. Wanted blue color pans to try. The blue is very easy to spot smaller gold and silver. The handles on classifier are great design and make easier to work material. Snuffer bottle also well made. I am a weekend prospector and have tried many pans out. This is a great kit.

Yes you will find cheaper kits but this kit is perfect for finding gold. The classifier is a snug perfect fit into the pan and you lose no gold when panning. I have two kits and have found both small and large nuggets using this gear. I simply would not use any other kit even if it was given to me for free. If you want to find gold, use this pan and classifier.
