5 stars
I'm so glad I discovered The Original Lucky Iron Leaf! As someone who struggles with iron deficiency anemia, I was looking for an alternative to traditional supplements that often cause unpleasant side effects. This product has been a game-changer for me. The concept is simple but brilliant - just add the iron leaf to your cooking water or drinks for 10 minutes, and it infuses the liquid with a significant amount of bioavailable iron. I've been using it daily in my soups, stews, and even my morning oatmeal. The best part is, there's no metallic taste or side effects like constipation. The leaf itself is made from high-purity, food-grade iron that's approved for fortification. It's extensively tested for safety and quality. I appreciate that it's manufactured in India by a reputable company that meets global standards. Another major plus is the 5 year supply included with each purchase. At just pennies per use, it's an incredibly affordable way to boost my iron levels long-term. And for every leaf sold, one is donated to an underserved community, which I love. Since incorporating The Original Lucky Iron Leaf into my routine, my energy levels have increased and my anemia symptoms have greatly improved. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a natural, side-effect free way to prevent or treat iron deficiency. It's a simple, effective, and socially conscious product that deserves 5 stars!

Game changer
This has definitely been a game changer!! Years of experiencing Anemia and having a challenging time digesting iron supplements, this little leaf enters my life and within days my energy is coming back. I find myself more productive, sleeping better, and exuding an overall level of vibrancy. I have tried infusions, pills, gummies, this is different! Absolutely zero metal taste, and super easy to work with. A must try for anyone seeking iron support.

Really works!
I was honestly skeptical about the Original Lucky Iron Fish when I first heard about it — a small piece of iron you just boil in water to help prevent iron deficiency sounded too simple to actually work. But after several months of using it, I can say it’s one of the most practical and sustainable health purchases I’ve made. It’s a 5/5 product for anyone who wants to naturally boost their iron without dealing with the side effects that come with traditional supplements. The concept is straightforward: you add the fish-shaped piece of iron to a pot of boiling water or soup with a bit of acidity (like a squeeze of lemon or a splash of vinegar) and let it simmer for about 10 minutes. The heat releases a safe, low dose of iron into the liquid. Then you remove the fish, dry it off, and use the water for drinking or cooking. It’s incredibly easy, completely tasteless, and fits seamlessly into daily routines. The biggest benefit for me has been avoiding the usual supplement issues. Iron pills often upset my stomach or cause constipation — but the Lucky Iron Fish doesn’t cause any of that. It’s a gentle, food-based way to get extra iron, and it feels like a more natural solution. After using it regularly for a few months, my energy levels improved, and my blood tests showed a noticeable rise in my iron levels. It’s reassuring to know I can maintain that without taking pills or powders. Another thing I love is how sustainable it is. One fish lasts for about five years, which saves money and cuts down on waste compared to constantly buying supplements. It also feels good knowing the company gives back — every purchase helps provide iron fish to communities affected by anemia around the world. It’s rare to find a health product that’s effective, ethical, and environmentally friendly all at once. The product itself is solid and well-made. It comes with clear instructions, a cleaning cloth, and storage info so you can keep it in good condition. It doesn’t rust or flake if you follow the directions, and it’s compact enough to store easily. I use it a few times a week, mostly when boiling pasta or making tea water, and it’s held up perfectly. If you struggle with low iron or want a simple, side-effect-free way to maintain your levels, the Lucky Iron Fish is a smart investment. It’s easy to use, effective over time, and completely safe — no additives, no aftertaste, no stomach issues. It’s the kind of product that quietly becomes part of your daily life and makes you wonder why more people aren’t using it. A genuine five stars for innovation, impact, and ease of use.

Who knows if it helps
I’m giving this a 4 star because I don’t know that it’s actually beneficial. My toddler has struggled with anemia so I tried this with his iron drops but honestly his numbers were like still the same. I will say he has been going through a picky stage though so who knows. It is heavy, good quality, and cute.

These - literally - are a life saver. I love them.
My husband has stage 4 lymphoma and is chronically iron deficient and therefore anemic - and THEREFORE - chronically tired. He has had several painful and expensive iron infusions to keep his hemoglobin up and his oncologist suggested trying the fish. After using the fish for a couple of months - his blood levels are now normal - even high normal, and he feels so much better and able to do things. This product is also great for kidney - related issues (but check with your medical provider to make sure iron deficiency and there fore anemia is the source of the fatigue) The instructions are self evident in the fish package, but here is our 'recipe' that actually tastes very good. ** lemon juice - squeeze some lemons (I do a half dozen small ones at a time ) place the juice in a small ice cube container and freeze ** flavoring to hide the taste of iron - we buy packages of spiced apple cider ** we grow fresh mint in a small pot in the window and add 3 to 5 leaves of mint to the boiling water ** we add a teabag of mint tea or other flavored tea Bring to boil about 4 - 5 cups of water - wash the fish with dish soap, rinse well and drop the fish in the boiling water. Add 1 or 2 small or half size ice cubes of lemon juice - you must have something with acid to leach the iron out of the iron fish add the teabag, and mint and boil - the fish package says for 10 minutes but we have added more water and other ingredients so we boil for 15 minutes and add water to keep the level at about 4 - 5 cups. when done, remove the fish and immediately wash with dish soap dry well place some cooking oil (teaspoon full or less) in the palm of your hand and smother the fish with the oil and wrap in a couple of paper towels to keep the oil on the fish - to prevent rusting - wash the oil off before making more fish- tea. Stir in the spiced apple cider and we also add a teaspoon of Stevia ( but you could use sugar to taste) He loves it ( and I love the taste, too - but DO NOT drink it yourself if you are not iron deficient - too much iron in your blood is toxic Sometimes he will have one cup of 'fish tea' (about 10 ounces) and sometimes he will have it twice a day - he kind of knows when his iron is low. The rest goes in the fridge and will keep for about 2 days. The entire recipie takes about 20 or 30 minutes to make and I do it every other or every third day. This is assuming you have lemon in the freezer and you boil 4-5 cups of water for 15 minutes. I forgot to add the lemon one day and he noticed that he was more tire than usual that afternoon(..... hmm wonder why......)

Iron fortification without h wanted taste and constipation
My children are very much in the “picky” eater phase, that being said they have very limited iron dense foods. When it comes to multivitamins with iron, the taste is unpleasant, and the side effects of nausea and constipation are less than ideal. The lucky iron fish helps to fortify their foods without the u wanted side effects, I look forward to continuing the use of this product.
