Bought this device to stop pigeons 'dropping' on to my car below the overhead line where they like to rest. Worked for about a week but now 'business' is more or less back to normal. Not the device's fault but this clearly isn't a long-term solution. Device has lasted well in a relatively protected area and certainly looks good. We found it has worked a treat - the pigeons have found an alternative toilet. One glitch though: the next morning after the first night we found the bird on the floor. The string supplied had simply frayed and broken. Although a bit breezy it wasn’t a particularly windy night. Solved this by using garden twine, which is obviously a lot more durable!
