I put these around the back of an equipment rack to illuminate the inside for when I need to check things or make wiring changes. It's very bright and gives good color rendition, which is a must for working with electronics. Highly recommended for lighting up any dark area with an even flood of light.

I have always disliked the bulky under cabinet lights of the past. They look ugly and produce spotty lighting. These LED strip lights solve those problems. They produce even lighting and are virtually unnoticeable until you turn them on. When used in combination with a dimmer, you can get the desired lighting you want. These strip lights work great and customer service was good, as well. Would recommend. As a remodeler, I will definitely use these again.

I spent a lot of time researching before I chose Hitlights. The most compelling feature was that you could cut the roll every 2 inches. One manufacturer has cut lines every 13 inches...that would prove to be disaster. I also found super strong double sided tape--acrylic waterproof removable residue-free strong mounting tape. This was the perfect tape to outline where I wanted the light string to go. When I was ready, I took the adhesive off the Hitlights roll and placed it on the double sided acrylic tape. This string of lights was going no where. Tape on tape...it doesn't get any better...plus this acrylic tape is pretty invisible. The cuts that I had to make in the light string was easy and attached well to the connectors that I purchased. Make sure you buy 10 mm / 2 PIN connectors if you have single colored lights. I also purchased male/Female cable to get everything where it needed to be. There were outlets above the cabinets and that made life easy. I purchased 2 12 V power supply ...one for each side of cabinets. It took less that 2 hours. I had to drill a few holes in top and bottom of a few cabinets to get the extension cable where it needed to be. Make sure you drill the holes big enough for the ends of the cable to pass through. Trust me...very easy with Hitlights.

We purchased these to retrofit in a outdoor lit blade sign. It's incredible how well they work. We removed the old fluorescent bulb and parts; cable tied the power supply in, put the power cord through the existing strain relief and installed the LED's in literally a minute. Unbelievable how easy and great the sign works and looks. We took a 230v 50hz European sign and converted it to a usable 120v 60hz North American sign for about 60 dollars in total and aout 10 minutes of work. Brilliant!

I gave this a 1 star just to get your attention... The lights do indeed work great - the only issue is that the strip connector recommended doesn't fit. To get the strip connectors to work you will need to shave the sides of the LED strips to fit. And even then, the connection will be tenuous. - I actually had to solder some of the connectors because I couldn't get it to fit! - Beware: I'm not even sure that they sell proper connectors that fit. But the ones that Amazon recommends you get DO NOT FIT the LED light strips!

I was unable to use these as they came too late for my son to install them as he replaced our worn out LED lighting under the cabinets in our kitchen. These are the same as the ones that we replaced. The new ones are #2835. They are much brighter. The adhesion gave out over time. We used our own double stick tape but that gave out as well. This time we used hot glue. Hopefully it will hold.

Pro,;Super brite lights, used for under cabinets . I should have baught wRm white. Con: they have a five second delay coming on.

This is one of the best RV upgrades I have done, It really made a big difference. be sure to order the ones ones that are 384 Lumens per foot. Lights that i used Cool White LED Light Strip, Premium High Density 5050 - 16.4 Feet, 300 LEDs, 5000K, 384 Lumens per Foot. 12V DC. and get the 10mm connectors not the 8mm
