I have been using this product for about 6 months now and am very happy with the results. I have dark blonde hair and ordered the medium brown kit, and the results are very natural looking. I once read somewhere that blondes should use two shades darker than hair color and brunettes use two shades lighter. I'm not sure if this is still valid, but I followed it and it worked. The tint lasts completely for about two weeks, but it obviously looks best/most saturated immediately after application. It will dye your skin, and that part will last for a few days as well. I follow the directions on the packaging, although they are a bit vague, so to elaborate: -Have a bunch of q-tips, one wet and one dry paper towel or washcloth (you don't mind staining) nearby your "station" -When mixing the powder with the developer, I first dump the contents of one capsule into the mixing bowl. Then squeeze enough developer over the powder so it is completely covered in a thin layer. Mix with the brush so the resulting cream is consistently colored with few to no brown specs of powder remaining. If your mixture is still very speckled, add a bit more developer cream. All of the cream should turn uniformly brown, so if yours looks like cookies n cream, you may need to adjust. Once mixed, I let it sit for a minute or two to ensure the developer is activated. -I have densely packed eyebrow hair, so for the first application I run the brush against the direction of hair growth to get in between the cracks and at the base of the brow hairs. Once it's packed in, I'll brush in the direction of the hair grown as if I were filling in my brows. -Your first few applications, wipe off with the wet paper towel after about a minute to see how much pigment your skin/hair picks up and to evaluate for any skin sensitivity. I have very sensitive skin, and do not notice irritation unless I left the product on for longer than 3 minutes (irritation meaning a slight burning sensation). -I typically apply 3-4 coats on each eyebrow, cleaning up the edges along the way with a q-tip. It works best to press the q-tip along the edges of your brow bone to follow the natural curve of your brows. -I've never used up entire capsule/developer batch of the tint in one sitting, so don't worry about running out or applying too many coats. It's always easier to add more than to try to take away (although it does fade pretty quickly and could probably be scrubbed off with dish soap). I've been applying every 1-2 weeks or so, and it's really cut down on the amount of time and product I spend on my brows every day. I still need to fill in the tails as mine are pretty sparse and the tint usually fades from my skin relatively soon after the application.

I have been using this kit for several years. Definitely the best option I have found for brows. The kit comes with all of the right tools: a brow comb/brush that’s better than most, an angled application brush, and a rigid container to mix the solution. The tools are important- another brand I tried had a flimsy tray that was very difficult to mix solution in and no brushes, just a useless limp little stick as an applicator. The Godefroy brushes are high quality and are useful long after the dye is used up. The dye itself is easy to mix and apply. It’s thick enough to control the application, does not run. It’s also very forgiving if wiped up right away- I keep Q-tips handy to clean up edges / shape as needed, and if any gets on my white countertop, as long as I wipe it up right away it doesn’t stain. An application lasts a couple of weeks. I find it helps to do more often though, then I need less brow makeup on a daily basis.

Ive had trouble finding a cool toned eyebrow dye and this hit the mark! I did leave on a couple minutes longer than the instructions said for my grey eyebrow hairs but worked great. Perfect ash brown color.

I'm so glad I found this product! It is easy for me to tint my blond eyebrows a darker color in less than 3 minutes. I was previously paying an aesthetician to tint my eyebrows every couple of weeks but she was charging me $15 each time and it was always a hassle to go in so frequently. But without any color on my eyebrows, I have to pencil them in or I look like I don't have any eyebrows at all because they are such a light color. Also, penciling them in or using an eyebrow powder never seems to look realistic so I really prefer to have them dyed. It is amazing what having darker eyebrows can do for your entire face! I feel like I need less makeup and still look pretty good when I go out as long as my eyebrows look okay. To use this, you simply open the capsule and put the powder in a small dish or bowl. Then use a capful of the included developer and mix it together. Once you've made a cream out of it, you can apply it to your eyebrows. I am very careful to just apply this cream to the part of my eyebrows I want to tint, not my skin or hair below. It can really stain your skin and you'll have to scrub it off for awhile to get it off, so I recommend being careful. After a few minutes have passed, I take a paper towel, fold it in a square, wet it, and put some soap on it, and wipe the dye off my eyebrows. They are instantly darker! I started out using the medium brown color but I think the dark brown color gives a more dramatic eyebrow look and still looks natural. I have blond hair and still think the dark brown looks perfect to frame my face. If you are worried about it being too dark, the best thing to do would be to put on the dye for one minute, wipe it off and check the color. Then if it is not dark enough, use a little more and keep it on for a minute or two until it is dark enough. This product is pretty foolproof and once you get the hang of it, you should have no trouble at all. It saves me $$$ from paying an aesthetician every 2 weeks! The color lasts only for a week to 2 weeks on me-- I don't think that is a problem with the product itself, but is due to the fact that eyebrows are shorter than normal hair and are constantly growing and falling out. Even when my eyebrows are dyed professionally, it only lasts up to 2 weeks.

I've gone the professional route with tinting and shaping my brows and while it looks better than what I can do myself (due to skill, not the product), I can't get over how much it costs for how short it lasts. In my experience, this product leaves my brows tinted for just as long as the professional stuff but at a fraction of the cost. The kit comes with an angled brush is perfect for application and 20 individual dye capsules. I always have more product than needed left over since I only dye my brows. One of my brows is shorter than the other so I do extend the dye past my hairs to make it match. It will dye the skin but it only stays for 3 days max. If you have this problem, dye it the day before your event so the skin is still dyed. The brow hairs stayed dyed up to a week. It says 6 weeks on the box but washing your face every day will make it fade faster. Tips: Use Vaseline around your eyebrows to keep the dye from soaking into the wrong parts of your skin. Have Q-tips handy and a paper towel. I typically wipe my brows with rubbing alcohol before I start. For timing, I tint in 1-minute intervals to ensure it doesn't get too dark and looks natural. I start the application tail first, then move to the middle and finally apply to the beginning of my brow for a more natural look. I have dark brown hair so the goal is to keep it 1-2 shades lighter than my natural color so I don't look like a cartoon. Pros: Affordable, easy to use, lasts as long as the professional dyes. Cons: Excess product wasted, does not last anywhere close to 6 weeks as advertised.

I hate applying makeup and will do anything I can to make my morning routine easier on myself, including tinting my eyebrows (even though technically they say not to use this for that). I've been using this brand to tint my eyebrows for years and it works great. My eyebrows are completely white and practically invisible if I do not tint them (or color them daily), so using this tint has been so helpful in saving me time each day. The color lasts for about 2 weeks, but the ends of my eyebrows definitely start fading within the first few days. It's not really a big deal, I just color them in with an eyebrow pencil. The main part of my brows stay colored for much longer and that's all I care about. The smaller box I used to order was really difficult to put on, but this box came with a much better applicator brush that made applying the product so much more precise. I've never had an issue with the product coloring my skin (I don't bother applying oil or Vaseline to protect it), though I do wipe it off immediately if I notice some color has escaped from my brows. One thing I've discovered is that I have to leave the product on a lot longer than recommended to get the desired color. If I just go 1-2 minutes, almost all the color wipes off. It does darken a bit more after removing it, so keep that in mind, but not a ton. My only complaint about this tint (and every other tint I've ever tried) is that they run on the cool side. Meaning, they aren't warm colors, but instead are cool shades of brown, so they end up looking blackish the darker you let it get, rather than just dark brown. I'd love to find a color that has warm undertones as I'm fair skinned with a warmer complexion, but until that day comes, this works really well and is way more affordable than getting my brows professionally tinted.

I don't think I've ever written a review, but I'm so impressed, I feel like I should. I used this to tint my eyebrows and I'm really happy with it. It was very easy, did not take long at all, and it looks great. I have naturally strawberry blonde hair but my eyebrows are naturally kind of a dark ash blonde color. They get really sparse at the tails, so the whole back half doesn't really show up. I've found lots of different ways to fill them in and make them look better, but it takes a little while and if I get lazy and rush through it, they end up looking funny. I'm really surprised how well this kit dyed and darkened the tails of my brows where I needed the most help. The light brown color is perfect--not reddish at all, very neutral. Here's how I did it and it worked really well: First, I got everything set up, including getting out a makeup wipe, and setting my phone timer to 30 seconds. I used a safety pin to put a little hole in the top of one of the capsules and I was able to easily squeeze some powder into the little mixing bowl--I maybe used about a quarter of the powder in one capsule, then used tape to seal the hole and save it for later. Then I added a little bit of the developer and mixed it together with the handle of the included brush (which looks like a typical angled eyeliner or brow brush). I used just enough to make it slightly runnier than toothpaste. I used the brush to paint it onto one of my brows fairly thick and then started the timer. After 30 seconds, I wiped it off with the makeup wipe and repeated everything on the other brow. I did a couple more applications on the tail of one my brows (the left one is usually less cooperative than the right one) in 30 second intervals until I had nice evenly colored brows. This won't thicken your brows or tattoo your skin, but it does a great job of darkening the hairs you put it on. I had no issues with dying my skin, maybe because I was fairly precise and I didn't leave it on long anyway. Well, that's it. I don't know how long it will last, but it's so easy, I would have no problem doing it every week if I had to, and it will take me forever to run out. I'll probably still use brow gel and stuff but it'll be so much easier to see the shape of my brows and I'll use way less product and spend less time on it for sure. I'm definitely super happy with this kit!

Have been using their products for over a decade for my eyebrows. Since I could not find big package of eyebrow dye, I have purchased this one, even though it’s not intended for use on eyebrows and lashes. Turn out great, feels more strong than the eyebrow one. The light beige comes out not warm at all, which is not bad at all! I actually want it that way, well, maybe just a taaad bit lighter and warmer, tiniest bit! Because I’m blonde. But still very comfortable to use and 1-2 minutes are enough, then you can add a bit more in the empty patches or just fill them in with a special pencil.

Been using this for 5+ years! I am extremely picky and never liked how my eyebrows turned out when I got them tinted by someone so I started doing it myself! Easy to use and the best way I would tell ppl to use this is to go slow. I do one application on each eyebrow wait a bit, wipe it off and go again until I like how dark they are. Don’t put it on and just leave it bc it will get really dark (unless that’s the look you’re going for), I just find going one application at a time always turns out the most natural :) There is plenty of product too in one capsule and the developer always lasts a long time, I always add a generous amount bc there is a lot of it. Just an amazing product!
