Screwed this to my desk for added support. Does seem to flex some, so it won’t hold up heavier objects. I didn't like how unsightly my desk looked with all the cords hanging off the desk, so I purchased this tray set to place under the desk and help manage all my cords. I liked being able to overlap them a bit, and also make sure that the holes for cords are still able to be used.I kind of wish the trays were a little taller because using a surge protector, the plugs might be too tall to fit into the tray. However, I am able to flip the surge protector on its side and then all of the cords can fit nicely into the surge protector. The cords are not the neatest inside the trays (as you can see in the 3rd photo) but at least they are hidden and nobody has to look at it all the time.The trays are a little bit flexible and bend a bit which is good if you are needing to bend them enough to get your surge protector into the tray. However, I was a little concerned they might not maintain their shape, which is why I'm giving this 4 stars.FYI, I used this cord cover kit to cover up all my cords, giving my desk and almost seamless look. I am satisfied with the purchase. I appreciate that two trays came with this purchase, along with velcro ties and the cable holders. I have a glass top desk, so drilling, in order to install these trays, was not an option. I specifically purchase this item because it gave me the option of using mounting tape to install it.As for my critiques, I think they need to be just little less bendy/flexible.
