**Q: Will this burn wood like if i hang it on a wooden wall?**
A: No, it provides a very gentle radiant heat.  It will not burn wood or wood shavings.  We have 3 if them and they are all mounted on wood surfaces.

**Q: Do these come with the side mount brackets? Mine did not come with any brackets**
A: I got one that did come with brackets and one that did not. My hutch has a metal grid on the wall, and it worked best to attach it with a double sided carabiner from Harbor Freight. That worked even better than the s-hooks and chain I used for the other heater.

**Q: Does the cord disconnect from the heater so that it can fit through a wire hole in a reptile enclosure?**
A: No, on the two heaters we have, the cord cannot be disconnected from the heater.  One possibility if you have the electrical skill is you could cut off the plug, thread the wire through the wire hole, and then attach a new aftermarket plug on the end of the cord.
