5" Inch Duct Connector Flange - Plastic Straight Pipe Flange for Heating Cooling - Inlet Outlet Ventilation System - Ducting Coupling Wall Plate - Assembly Joint Set (125mm)

I purchased this as part of a project to provide direct external venting for a floor standing air conditioning unit. After core drilling a 5" hole through the solid wall and installing a length of solid 5" duct through the wall (and capping the outside with a suitable weatherproof louver), this connector flange completes the internal wall interface where I can connect the unit (via it's flexible duct) in the summer and then cap the opening in the winter months. (I 3D printed a cap for the opening). This works great and means that I no-longer need to vent the unit through an open window (allowing more hot air into the house). Keep in mind that this is for 5" duct ~125mm not 4" ~100mm so check which one you need.

Fit is good but material feels a bit flimsy but once screwed in it's fine. The lip also bends but as it is all once piece it keeps it quite sturdy

Es muy fácil su instalación en un techo falso, se lo puse junto a una válvula de anti-retorno a mi campana extractora cerrando completamente el conducto desde ésta hasta el exterior e impidiendo el acceso no autorizado a los bichos que puede haber en el techo falso durante ciertas temporadas del año. Desde que lo tengo puesto así, no he vuelto a ver ni una sóla cucaracha salir por ahí. Esto me produce un alivio que no tiene precio!!! Me resultó imposible encontrar de este tamaño en tiendas físicas por lo que lo adquirí aquí. Totalmente recomendable!

Wurde zu einem Flansch für ein Radialgebläse umgebaut. Das Plastik ist von guter Qualität.
