American Made UBLMT Premium Single Can Ball or Bolt Mounted Garbage Hauling Device, By Garbage Commander

We live in the county & have to haul our garbage can quite a ways to the road for pick up. My husband usually just picks up the can & puts it in the back of his truck. However, he recently had shoulder surgery & it’s left me to pull it back & forth. I had heard of a device that attaches to a hitch & started researching. I at first ordered a less expensive one only to find out it wasn’t long enough to fit under the bed of our side by side. So I sent it back. This one however works perfectly. I had my son help me put it together so that all the bolts would be tight. I was able to install it on the side by side myself. I saw there were a few reviews that said the spring was too tight. It seems they have fixed this. Mine is super easy to put on. It’s also easy to get the garbage can on & off even if it’s pretty full. It appears to be made very well. I only go about 5 mph when pulling the garbage can. But I could probably go faster. Our can has a crack right now & don’t want to make it worse. I will be recommending this device to my neighbors & others. It has made this temporary task of mine much easier. I’m pretty sure my husband will continue using it when he gets better because it’s so easy to do.

Works great. I have zero turn John Deere mower and a hitch put on the back and then this amazing invention. I can now pull my cart around and pickup sticks easily and trim branches easily. YouTube the assembly instructions its a lot easier than the papers that come with it. Easy to assemble. You do need socket set up to 11/16 and crescent wrenches.

I like it and I can make it work, however; 1. Bolt holes did not line up. Had to bend ears in a vise. 2. One bolt snapped during assembly. Replaced with higher quality hardware. 3. IMHO, the trash can sits at too steep an angle in the carrier. I will cut the arm and weld in an additional 18” to lessen the angle. 4. The pin on the ball attachment is too short. I will have to buy a longer one.

We got this Garbage Commander because we have a slope which has become difficult for us to pull dumpsters uphill. It was worth the price which was good to begin with. We have it attached to our Kawasaki Mule. We also attached it to a Toyota Tacoma which also worked well. It is heavy-duty steel, easy to attach the dumpsters, and maneuvers behind the mule easily. It is a simple mechanism making it easy to use. In the package clips were changed for easier use. The dupster lies back and handles fit in the slot, pin clips secure it frombouncingng off, and it goes up the slope easily. We have been looking for this helpful item for a long time. Life is easier

This thing is rather expensive for what it is. Should be about $40. That being said you will need to have a trailer hitch, ball or bolt on some kind of vehicle to make it work. Putting it together, instructions are rather poor, and it comes as a hand full of parts. An extra pair of hands would be useful. You will need some standard socket and box end wrenches. I suppose a Crescent wrench and some Chanel locks will do in a pinch. Once done I towed my trash can out our bumpy dirt road and back no problem. The spring clips were easy to use. I would not leave it hanging on the can, it could end up in the garbage truck or some thief might grab it.

This contraption has made our lives so much easier! We live on a busy road and WE ARE OLD! It is a long way to that road. It hooks right up to the lawnmower and takes no time to get the cans on the street. What a wonderful invention!

First of all, the instructions are horrible. The pictures are completely unclear and do not help, and the hardware is not labeled. The nuts and bolts do not fit the bar that connects to the arm that holds the trash cans. This purchase is a complete disappointment. If there were better instructions, if the hardware were in bags labeled, it could work. But this thing is a nightmare. I even looked up YouTube videos and there’s not one for this version.

I've used this unit both directly bolted to my John Deere lawn tractor and with a ball hitch (this unit allows both). It was easy to install in both configurations and worked equally well in both. Connecting and disconnecting the garbage can is simplicity itself. The Can Coupler (for the 2nd can, sold separately) is easy to use, though doesn't provide a lot of lateral support (to prevent the can from tipping). I remedied that by connecting my most "tippable" can first, i.e. to the main unit connected to the lawn tractor, with the more stable can behind, using the Can Coupler. I highly recommend this product.

1800 foot gravel laneway + new garbage cart made for major grief BUT totally solved by this device!!! Assembly required attention to the drawings but vise grips and box end and done. Spray silicone on the two pins that lock the cart handles eases their in/out. Overall — AbFab!!
