New keyestudio MEGA 2560 R3 development board USB cable compatible for arduino

This is criticism of Amazon's return system. I thought I was buying a factory new product. I connected an IIC LCD, and was very surpised to find it was running some sort of user program (not blink), displaying the results on the LCD and on the serial output! It will be tedious to discover if the previous owner damaged something then returned the board.

Initial reaction: - it was love at first sight. The yellow and black "Killer Bee" appearance sold me right away. I watched a few youtube videos and other online reviews and decided to buy one of these and a UNO R3 as well. The only downside, this board didn't qualify for the 1 day Free Shipping that I had hoped for.Indeed, the wait was longer than that.....and no fault of either Amazon or Keyestudio. This particular package got routed to the wrong Postal SubStation and took a total of 4 agonizingly long days to arrive in my mailbox.In the meantime, I had received the Keyestudio UNO R3 that I had ordered and I was impressed by the quality of construction and the clarity of the printing on the PCB. Based on that board and tired of waiting, I ordered another Mega 2560 in the hope that one would eventually arrive.Anyway, it was worth the wait. Very little to nitpick about on this board. It looks sharp and the color scheme helps to make it jump out from the usual clutter of my desk. I powered it up, checked the board info on the sketch menu and ran a couple of projects without any issues.This board does come with a short and thick blue cable to connect to a USB port. As time goes by, I'll likely buy a few more of these boards.

I usually buy Megas that are almost 3 times the price. But I thought I'd take a chance on these, so I bought 2.I ran them through some tests and compared them to my more expensive boards.Well, I'm happy to say, these boards work perfectly and as good as the others.Going forward, these will be my boards to buy.

The Keyestudio Arduino Mega 2560 works exactly like the original.The labeling is even clearer to distinguish than the original (light yellow lettering on a very dark green background.)I checked all the soldering joints with a magnifying glass and everything is top notch.Headers are perfectly aligned.Every sketch I tried worked right off the bat.This is the new reference!

Nice solid well made - and well laid-out board. No compatibility issues (so far) with any other gear (expansion I/O, various shields, sensors, etc). And the yellow text on black board makes identifying pinsets a breeze. We're currently using it in a prototype, but if it proves itself over time we might just use it as our standard board going forward - especially given the price. If we encounter any issues we'll update the review but as it stands it's a great choice.Also, shipped/arrived quickly (I'm in Arctic Canada), and packaged well.
