I know that the Atra and Atra Plus Blades are interchange (as you are probably aware). I switched to the Contour Plus from using the Atra Blades, strictly as a cost-cutting move, and I have been mostly satisfied. I was never totally thrilled with the Atra (never used the Atra Plus).
