Glowing Embers

Nice stuff, exactly what I expected

Great addition to revamp our gas log fireplace. Glows just like real embers. Color looks natural when the fireplace is off, like a dusty gray ash. Easily cut into smaller pieces for placement around the edges of the burner. The package contains gobs of wool and I only used a small fraction for a great effect making it a great value for the money. Should work with any brand of gas fireplace but check your manual first!

Easy to use. Tear dime size pieces and then pull them a bit to open them up in the middle. Spread around gas ports (making sure not to block/clog them). Generates realistic embers in your gas fireplace. If you can, attach some the ember material to your logs where the flames touch them and you will get some realistic embers on your logs as well. Contains a good amount that should provide quality embers for many years. Embers should last about 5 years before needing to be replaced.

These look really beautiful is our gas fireplace. They look like they are on fire but never burn up.

I had the fireplace guy put this in for me when he was fixing a problem with our gas fireplace. He probably used about an ounce, and it looks great. Adds a nice glow to the bottom of the fire where embers would normally be in a real fire. If you are using it in more than one fireplace, you will probably only need one bag.

Very happy with how this product made an average looking gas fireplace come to life. It make the whole fireplace look much more realistic when the fire is on. There’s plenty of “embers” in the bag for any fireplace. I’ve probably used less than a quarter of the bag to do my initial set up. I’m sure some will fall or deteriorate over time but I dont expect to have to add more any time soon, so I am extremely happy with the value. It’s also easy to set up. just make sure they’re on the pipes / directly near the flames and not too compacted; the more surface area the flames have to interact with the better.

This is the perfect item to be used for replacement of your old glowing embers in your gas fireplace. Always wanted to replace mine. Saw this on a Facebook post. And decided to order my own. Tomorrow a Service Tech is coming out to do a maintenance on the gas fireplace. Can’t wait to see what it looks like when they’re done.

We were glad to have a cheap source for the rockwool we needed to do the after-season cleaning/servicing of our gas fireplace insert. We had pretty much no idea how to proceed but with this huge amount of material it was easy to take chances to attempt to attach the material to our insert's 'logs'. In the end, we were left with probably enough extra material to supply our needs for decades as well as having extra to share with others. But the material performed perfectly and our now-clean and function-restored gas fireplace is ready for another winter of service. And we have enough material to do this same servicing again many times over.

Used this when doing a major clean up of our fireplace. A few small pieces here and there on the logs and the blue gas flames became beautiful real wood log flame look. Very pleased!

Used with Midwest Hearth Platinum Embers and the results are AMAZING, cannot be beat. AAA+++++++
