And make no mistake - the strip is *bright*! I did not use the sticky back. I installed them as they came in, then used silicone to block ends so it would not move when traveling. I only needed 16ft. If you bought a longer length of lights, you can cut them at the length you need where designated. **Q: Has anyone connected it to the existing outdoor RV light? If so is there a video?** A: If you have the led awning lights the wire is at the top end of the awning frame against the camper and is easy to make the connection. **Q: Does anyone know the color temperature of this strip?
