Hi, can anyone let me know if this stud finder is any good? I'm seeing a ton of negative reviews.

Terrible..Just had my Pop try and put up a tv and no stud found anywhere. I now have 4 holes that got the filled sanded and painted over in my kitchen 😩

Will this find wood studs through aluminum siding?
