Great purchase as the local hardware store wanted $160 just ...
Just mounted the carb on the Stihl Trimmer and it worked perfectly. Operates and appears OEM. Got 20 years out of the original OEM and expecting 20 from this. Great purchase as the local hardware store wanted $160 just for the part and more money to install it. Very simple install. Anyone could do it.

This carb didn't perform well and would not run my small machine correctly.
Will have to tweak this carb to make it work correctly. Shouldn't have to if this is built and tested to ensure it works right.

Worked great.
Didn't have to fine or course tune carburetor, it was set perfect straight from the box. I would have gave it a 5. It deserves a 5 star but they do not include a gasket. They don't tell you in the description you need a gasket or what part number for the gasket.

Stihl Trimmer FS76 OEM Carb replacement # 227-1
I could not get my Stihl trimmer to run properly. I struggled with carb kits, filters, fuel line replacement, cleaning and adjusting. I tried all the low hanging fruit of maintenance and finally gave up. I purchased this carb and bolted it on with adjustments tools in hand and fired the trimmer up. It ran perfect and I did not even need to tweak it. After all my efforts my problem was solved in 15 min and cold glass of ice tea. Sometimes I am my own worst enemy. I pegged 4 stars because it did not come with a gasket. I expected a gasket. (Yes I know--lame move; I will think ahead next time.) Great solution to my problem!

Sthil trimmer carburetor
the part arrived in a timely manner had it on the trimmer in min. and it started right up no adjusting needed. trimmer has been run hard the last few days trying to catch up all without a problem. Thanks
