Flex Seal can eliminate periodic outdoor house painting
This stuff has provided a 'final solution' for certain outside wood on my home. I live where the seasonal temperature range can be 100F to -40F. This is brutal on even the best, long-lasting outdoor house paint. Every few years I would have to scrape and/or sand cracked or peeling spots and do touch up. Since I first used Flex Seal on critical places (like window frame tops where snow and water sit), I have had NO FURTHER MAINTENANCE. Note that there is conflicting information as to whether you can apply regular paint on top of the Flex Seal (for me, I wanted to knock down the Flex Seal's high gloss finish). So, last year, I painted over some trim that had been painted previously with Flex Seal to test adhesion and durability. All I did to prep the Flex Sealed surface before applying regular house paint was to scrub with a TSP solution. So far, no peeling or cracking has occurred. The only negative I have observed is that the Flex Sealed surfaces attract dust noticeably, almost like it's statically charged. However, the surface cleans up easily with a hose and soft-bristled brush. This stuff yields a truly waterproof barrier that has eliminated the periodic painting I had to do every 2-3 years. The wood trim is sealed and no shrinkage or cracking has occurred. I'm getting older, so the less time I spend on a ladder is fine with me!

My son saved $850 using this product and I have solved several problems with Flex Seal Liquid.
I purchased this for my Son and he is very pleased with the application a durability of Flex Seal Liquid. Instead of spending $1000 on Rhino Lining his truck again, he used Flex Seal Liquid. He rolled his entire truck bed with it. He put 4 coats on his Chevy Silverado with an 8ft bed. He used 1 and 3/4 gallons to complete the job. It is thick and can handle the hard knocks. The look of it is actually more attractive than Rhino Lining. Update: I also used Flex Seal to repair the interior of my Honda Accord. There are plastic parts inside the car that have deteriorated over time from the heat and sun in Florida. The plastic became tacky and was coming off onto everything that touched it. My hands were constantly getting sticky and it actually ruined a few pieces of my clothing. I taped up the areas surrounding that plastic and applied Flex Seal. It became hard over night and and now those parts actually look better now than they did when the car came from the factory. I must add that the quality of the liquid Flex Seal seems to produce much better results than the spray. I've used the spray on a few items around the house and it does not apply as evenly as they liquid and is no where near as durable as the liquid. This product is absolutely fantastic! There is no doubt in my mind that boat cut in half in the commercial was indeed repaired with Flex Seal. It is the real deal!

Awesome Stuff
I have a 15 year old, 16' cargo trailer we take to our job sites. I replaced the skylight and needed a way to seal it properly. Regular silicone didn't do the trick and I considered roofing tar. I found this product and was a bit familiar with it and it's claims to seal. Well I gave it a shot to seal the skylight and it worked great. I then decided to order more and coat the entire roof and patch over the original sealant used when the trailer was built. The roof is galvanized and had a little coating of rust. I lightly sanded the surface to rough it up and applied the Flex Seal. I'm very happy with the results. The original sealant had separated in a few spots around the perimeter and this easily sealed those areas. I used a full gallon plus 2 pints to complete the job. I was pretty liberal with the application. It's thick stuff so it's not like spreading paint. I used a 4" wide paint brush and a disposable 2" brush for the detail areas. WEAR CRAPPY CLOTHES when applying. It seems to get everywhere-and I'm very neat! Disposable rubber gloves are a plus.

HALLELUJAH IT REALLY WORKS AS ADVERTISED
This is an amazing product!! It sets up and bonds like an epoxy product, in fact once cured, it feels somewhat like epoxy. I used it to fill in and repair and seal cracks between my garage pad and asphalt driveway. I experienced magnificent results.and the product seems unaffected by having the cars driving over. It also looks great. I noticed that it sets up dry to the touch in about 6 hours, particularly in warm weather. I intend to use it to fill and cover all the cracks in my drive. I must say though that you need to following the directions meticulously for best results. I like the way you can use the spreading tool of your choice - trowel, brush, roller they all work well and the product levels itsaelf very well. I am thinking about painting it on a back patio concrete surface where nothing else seems to work.Honestly, this is really one of those WOW products.

Your neighbors will wonder, "what was he thinking?". Only you will know you weren't.
When I told our wife I wanted our house to be “incompetent handy-man chic” she had know idea what I was talking about. But, thanks to FlexSeal, our house looks like someone tried to make minor repairs with a can of over-priced black paint, and regular paint probably would have done a better job. Flexseals amazing properties means it won’t fill in ANY crack on any surface. As soon as you brush or roll over the surface to smooth it out, the sticky, foul smelling goop will be pulled out the crack. And I know what you thinking, that’s just on vertical surfaces, but you’re wrong! Got a crack in your driveway and would rather repave? Well now you can choose between speed bumps of black paint or black panit on ether side of the crack. It’s like Bob Ross always said, you’ll be in agony city. But wait, there’s more. If you act now you’ll get the regret of having spent money on this crap and, if you’re brave enough to use, it the shame of what you’ve done to probably a decent home. Your neighbors will wonder what the hell you were thinking. Seriously though, I have regretted a purchase this much since I took a grad school class with Michelynn McKnight,, and that decision helped make me into the alcoholic misanthrope I am today.

Great sealer
The liquid in a can is great for waterproofing outdoors. I have used it on the skylight curbs and gutters on my sunroom. Has not shown any signs of wear or cracking during the past 3 years. Has withstood +40 celsius to minus 37 celsius. The liquid version of this product is better than the spray version.
