Oem well made
Perfect fit for a 4th gen honda odyssey. The old one was very clogged and needed replacement at 150k miles. Removing the old one was tricky but this new oem part was super easy to install. The van feels much less sluggish now.

Great OEM HONDA part. Perfect fit.
Perfect Honda part. Replaced the old one 1,000 miles ago after 243,000 on the original (was gummed up and wasn’t breathing properly) Honda part. Works great.

Great Fix for Oil Leaks and Consumption
I had trouble with oil leakage and excessive oil consumption in my 2007 Honda Pilot EX-L with four-wheel drive. Oil was leaking from the perimeter of the front valve cover gasket and seeping from the rear main seal. The leak was so severe that oil got into the alternator and fried it. After some research, I discovered that a clogged PCV valve could cause these symptoms. I purchased this replacement and, upon removing the old PCV valve, I found it was badly burnt and didn’t rattle at all. Installation of the new PCV valve was simple and straightforward. Since replacing it, I haven’t had any leaks! I did notice a bit of smoke coming from the front O2 sensor, but that was just oil residue burning off the exhaust manifold. It worried me at first, but everything turned out fine. I highly recommend this product—great value for the money.

BE Careful! Otherwise a great fit for my Pilot
Installing this on the 3.5L V6 went from what was supposed to be a 15 minute job to several hours. This OEM piece for great! The old one, though, was a disaster as many others have stated, please be careful once removing the old gunked up to one. It will break on you easily. I spent hours getting all the pieces out with a automotive pick. Anyway, successfully installed on my 2011 Pilot and resolved my oil burning issue. If you don't change this out, you can eventually over pressure your head gasket or VVT gasket on your VTEC solenoid which will cause a bad oil leak on these.

Be patient
It came with a honda oem bag, it does not come with the metal inset where the bolt goes, you need to reuse the old one. Extracting the old one from my 2008 Odyssey was no joke, the old PCV valve broke into 3 pieces. The outside ring, the top portion and the smaller mid-section (the bottom cylinder with a spring and another plastic piece inside). Fortunately, i have an endoscope (that I used for foam insulation), and I was able to gently fish out the stuck pieces with a small pick and a needle-nose plier. You can also use a long pointed tweezer. If you are not handy and your car’s mileage is over 100,000K, I would suggest you let the mechanic do this. Because the old PCV valve is bound to be brittled with age, it's not for the faint of heart. If you use a large eyelet with coarse thread to pull it out, just twist it enough for it to turn, if you over turn the screw inward, it will break into 2 pieces. That’s how I broke mine. Good luck. The car runs normal now. I replaced it mainly because I noticed there was a leak from the vvt seals area and the oil dipstick popped out on its own. I suspect the pcv valve is clogged, and the pressure in the engine compartment is not releasing. I will replace the vvt seals if it continues to leak. BTW, I have no codes.

Bought this to see if it would resolve engine oil consumption issue for 2010 Honda Accord V6. The original PCV has never been changed in 14 years, definitely due for this. - Came in genuine Honda packaging. - Very simple installation. - Checked oil 5 weeks after installation and it's good - no drop in oil level. - Attached photo shows new part on left, old part on right. Identical match to original part. Will continue to monitor for oil loss, but so far appears this simple change of PCV valve has resolved the oil consumption problem.
