Only LEDs can be connected to the load port. No other DC equipment can be connected.

Is this an mppt or pwm controller? surely too cheap to be mppt.

This an mppt controller. I've had mine for several months now and it works just fine.

What battery setting would i need for a lead acid battery, b1,b2 or b3?

Sorry I'm not sure? I use a standard 65amp hour leisure battery and that works fine. Sorry I couldn't be of more help I'm kind of learning on the way.
