4 Tools in 1 : Digs, Cultivates, Weeds and Rakes
Got this at the 'Add on' price and was pleasantly surprised. Wasn't sure how much use I would get out of it at first. When Irma was coming and a sure hit I took cuttings off the tops of all my leafy tropical outdoor plants because I knew they would be torn to shreds if left in place. Put them in 5 gallon buckets with water in the garage. After storm passed I potted the cuttings in pots using the sand from the bags our mayor and police force (City of Edgewood, Florida) helped us bag and put them out in the back yard. Decided to add these 2 1/2 month cuttings in front of the same plants in the established beds. Discovered this is a heavy, solid tool. Was able to rake back a thick layer of mulch with the prong end, dig with the spade end then turn it on its side to rake the loose soil off to one side before planting. Then noticed I had some pretty big weeds growing in the back. Rather than go back in the garage to get my trusted heavy-duty step-on weed extractor I decided to give a go with this. After driving the prongs all the way in the ground around the base of the weed on the left, then behind, then on the right, I flipped it around so the spade was facing me and drove the prong end in under the root ball and pulled back popping it right out with little exertion! Definitely a great tool to have for any gardener!

MUST buy for gardeners
If you're a gardener, or just someone who pulls weeds in the yard from time to time YOU MUST BUY THIS TOOL. It's an absolute game changer for digging quick holes and hackup up deep rooted plants and weeds. Works so well. Light weight. And very durable. I'm obsessed with this tool and couldn't live without it.

The green monster...
Best tiller/mattock on the market! The only reason I'm buying another one is because somebody stole my stuff out of my front yard, I've had one of these for years and it works great and is plenty sturdy. Yes I've had to straighten the tines a couple times, but only because I was being exceedingly hard on it. It's a real go getter, and I was elated to find a replacement cuz my local hardware store doesn't carry them anymore for some dumb reason. Don't waste your time on anything else, buy this one! The only issue I ever had with it was the handle slipping off, so put some good adhesive under it , slide it back on and let it dry for a few days before you use it.

Fairly good tool
Used this tool in my garden several times this week. The narrow angle is good for getting in between plants and taking out the roots and core of many weeds including some over 2 ft tall. It is lighter in weight than expected so at best it is a medium duty tool good for average tasks or pliable soil. For hard soil like heavy dry clay or hardpan, this may not be the ideal tool as the metal may not hold up or break. One drawback is the handle keeps slipping off, but its nothing a little glue cant fix. Overall, it does a fairly good job comparable in quality to Lowes or Home Depot.

sturdy, easy to use, comfortable; best pick I ever used for small hand gardening jobs!
i only have used the pointed end but it is invaluable for digging out a lot of pesky weeds by the roots. I love that it is all one piece of metal; no wedges to lose, like in the wood handled ones with separate head! Sturdy, durable, feels good in the hand - ergonomically comfortable - recommended on arthritis sites - and I will use this a lot. Was so glad when I borrowed a friend's that the label on there was still legible enough to read "yard butler" and find one for myself!

Truly Better Than All the Rest!
This is the one you need, the one you cannot do without, regardless of the size of your garden or even if you're using it only to keep the weeds out of your lawn. Unlike the larger, heavier, even cooler-looking cultivators, this tool REALLY does the job. Because its tines are small and close together, you can "hammer" the tool right at the roots of even the most murderous weeds and then just pop them right out, roots and all. I have one area of my lawn that I've been fighting with for years -- it always seems to come back in weeds. This year I used this tool instead, and all you can find there now is the grass I planted. In my gardens, however, I don't want grass, I want vegetables or flowers. This is the most effective and easy-to-use garden weeder ever. Its size, weight, small tines, and the sharp hoe side help me keep the grass and weeds out like never before -- its simple but effective engineering make it easy.

THE most important tool I own for hand weeding!
I have 4, yes 4 of these, well had, every time a family member uses this tool they have to have it! I live in KY where the soil is 90% clay, this tool makes short work of anything you put it on crabgrass horse weed, even dandelions. it doesn't come very sharp So if you want a sharper tool for cutting stuff like blackberry Brambles you might want to sharpen it. The weight is perfect heavy enough to drive it in the clay but light enough it doesn't work you. This tool is Great quality and comes welded!! I haven't broken 1 yet and I've been using them for 12+ years. This purchase was for my neighbor, as soon as she used it she needed 1 :)

Best Tool Ever!!!
This is the best garden tool anywhere. I absolutely love it. I had one for years that I used and used until it fell apart (actually, I was trying to pry up a large rock and the handle broke off!!) This tool improves on the last because it has all steel construction so the handle won't break off, and a nice rubber grip. I am lost without this tool, so my sweet hubby bought me two, in case I misplace one. I use it a lot for planting and prying up rocks, but it also helps for weeding and numerous other activities.
