Great "Replacement" for Stock Grips That Are Wearing Away.
First off, I'd like to thank whomever returned this item in great condition. I save a lot of money. Thank you. I got these parts used on an Amazon Warehouse special for about $28. It's a real killer deal. The description said it was missing screws and had no instructions. I was ready to buy screws for it at the local hardware store. To my surprise, it had everything! The instructions, adhesive and screws were sealed as if they were never opened. Other than the box being worn a bit, the parts were in immaculate condition. I really needed some grip covers because my stock grips were wearing down from years of use (2017 Ultra Limited). I also didn't want to deal with buying new Harley heated grips and feeding through the wires through the handlar. The install was very simple. They go right over the existing handlebar grips. You attach the adhesive to the heated grip control knob and then you place the new control cover on that and slap on the new controls, add blue loctite and tighten them down with the screws. Note: I didn't install mine the way everyone else has theirs in the picture because I like the rubber iso grip to be in a particular way. That's why mine is set the way it is. Maybe I'll do it the way it's supposed to be but for now, it works just fine for me. The grip covers make the grip handles a little fatter but I don't mind it. I used to have iso grips on my last motorcycle and I actually prefer it that way. If you haven't already, give used parts by Amazon Warehouse a try. You might stumble across a gem like this. If it doesn't work out for you, it has the same return policy as brand new stuff from Amazon. I'm very satisfied with my purchase. **UPDATE 12/03/22** The paint on the grip seemed to kind of get bubbled up on the right grip. Moving the temperature setting seems a little tougher than before. I'm only finding this out now because I didn't have to use the heated grip option during the summer. When using the heated grips, it's almost non-existent. Prior to having grip covers, I would stay at level 3 heat because anything more was a little too much. Now, I put it on level 6 and on a 35 minute commute, it doesn't even feel like it's on. I would slightly feel like it was on level 2 but it's really non-existent.
