This is excellent quality Toor Dal or lentil because it cooks very quickly. The quality is excellent and the quantity is plenty. This lentil almost has a sweet taste to it when cooked as Sambar which is delicious. Highly recommended by me.

This stuff is great, use it all the time to make dal. Can't find the organic stuff in the local Indian grocery, so I buy it online. Seems very high quality to me.

Fresh and flavorful. As the lentils are cooking, sautee 1 finely chopped large red onion, 1 large tomato, grate a Green Mango and add all to the cooked lentils long with salt and if needed, finely chopped fresh green serrano peppers! Add to cooked rice and enjoy! I cook 1 cup of rice with 1 cup of quinoa with four cups of water in my rice cooker and it comes out perfectly every time. Add the cooked lentils to your rice quinoa mix and enjoy a low carb delicious meal.

Wasn’t sure what to expect ordering lentils off amazon lol but they are great! Exactly as I expected and I was really happy to find this Toor Dal organic! Very hard to find locally

I am new to lentils, but OMGoodness are these tasty, different than the darker lentils. I am a beginner vegan and I know I will find many ways to use these lentils. Delicious.
