I agree with some other reviews that these bags may not be good for very large shoes. In my case I liked that they were a little smaller. I have other shoe covers that have too much fabric. The WIDTH of the bags is great - wide enough for shoes but pack down small. Fabric good and string closure works fine. After receiving product, I bought a second set.

These shoe bags feel so cheap. So surprised this has come from Briggs & Riley. They’re to replace old Samsonite ones which are of a much better quality. Men’s trainer size 10 just fits.

For essentially two nylon bags, these are drastically overpriced. A bag barely accommodates a mens size 11 shoe, but requires you to cinch down and put pressure on the shoe in order to close the bag completely -- which could mar or damage the shoe. I would leave the end open a little in any case for air circulation, to prevent buildup of mold, bacteria, and odors; the material is not breathable otherwise. I do prefer a water-resistant bag like this, with a mechanical option (drawstring or vent) for air circulation; but this bag only allows for it on one end; and each bag should be larger. Separating shoes in individual bags prevents them from scuffing each other while in transit. Too many of the shoe bags available have shoes bumping and rubbing against each other in a single bag. The drawstring closure on this set is also almost fail-proof, in contrast to the cheap zippers used on many bags from other brands. I expect the nylon to be more durable than the nonwoven and plastic materials used in many other shoe bags. The nylon is uncoated, making it water resistant, not waterproof, and also perhaps not as soft as you might want for fine leather dress shoes. But it's an acceptable trade-off between nonwoven (breathable but not durable) and plastics (waterproof but neither durable nor breathable). For fine leathers you might want to consider a 100% cotton flannel bag, as long as dirty or wet soles contacting packed clothing is not an issue. There is unnecessary labeling on each of these bags: a sewn leather logo tag, which can be unstitched and trimmed but not completely removed without opening the bag's seams. For a barely good enough bit of nylon, this is way, way, way overpriced.

Reasonably priced and fitting for shoes up to size 12. Material is thin and cheap feeling but it does the job.
